Starting his journey as Prince and reaching to a Superstar position now is after all strenuous hard work and focus. Mahesh babu surely deserves awards for that and here goes the latest one.

Mahesh has won his third Filmfare award the other day for his stunning performance in the role of a talented cop in 'Dookudu'. The star hero of Tollywood has stunned everyone with his funny one-liners while receiving the award. "The reason why the Best Actor award is announced in the end is because they don't want people to leave. If they give me first, people will leave... that's what Dhanush just told me", stated Mahesh, sending the whole crowds into laughs.

This is the third 'Best Actor' Filmfare award for Mahesh after he has won for Okkadu and Pokiri earlier.

Chiru got Life Time Achievement Award

The king of Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi got Life Time Achievement Award for his service to the cinema industry in Idea Film fare awards. Chiru bags higher number of awards in Filmfare than any other actor/actress in South India. He got 7 awards in best acter category in sequent years. it is an unbeatable record.
             
                    He received this award from Rekha and she asked to chiranjeevi "Please act in a hindhi movie with me, then you can act in telugu movies".

 Megastar Chiru said that getting achievement award not meant for something is achieved he has to achieve more in life.

A true celebration of excellence in South Indian Cinema, the 58th Filmfare Awards are all set to begin in just few hours at International Convention Centre in Madhapur, Hyderabad. These are the most famous awards in India especially South India. These are now sponsered by Idea Cellular limited

The prestigious awards which are recognition of talent in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films will be given away at the awards ceremony. The polling process has generated a huge response for 10 popular categories each in Tollywood, Mollywood,Kollywood, and Sandal wood films. Nominees drawn from the responses have been short listed and a specially appointed jury has been set up to pick the final winners.

Idea Filmfare will also witness a slew of performances by the biggest names in filmdom. All the stars from Telugu Tamil Kannda and Malayalm have reached Hyderabad a day before. The actors and actresses who are performing at the event are practicing for their respective performance from last few weeks inspite of their busy schedules.
