Chiru Will Become CM Soon?

Though megastar Chiranjeevi had merged his erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress party long ago, there seems to be no integration hearts of the leaders of both the parties yet.

While Chiranjeevi himself is trying to maintain his own group within the Congress party, his group leaders are making statements that are embarrassing for the party. Take for instance endowments minister C Ramachandraiah, an MLC from the Chiranjeevi camp. On many an occasion, Ramachandraiah expressed displeasure over the injustice meted out to Chiranjeevi group in the Congress party.

On Saturday, Ramachandraiah made a sensational statement saying the people were fed up with the present leadership in the Congress party and they desperately wanted Chiranjeevi to become the Chief Minister of the state.

“The day is not far off when Chiranjeevi will become the Chief Minister. He would provide a different leadership to the state,” he said.

Mahesh And Charan Don't Have It

Many thought that this year both Mahesh and Charan will come with two movies. Both planned with the same target and started their films. With ‘Businessman’ arriving in January Mahesh fans were sure that one more film is compulsory from Mahesh this year. ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is arriving on September 28th was the announcement.

But shooting is yet to be completed. Industry sources say the film will not be ready for October too. If October passes then good season for reason is only Sankranthi according to producer Dil Raju. Being a multi-starrer and that too a family treat, he is reportedly feeling that January is the right time.

Similarly, Charan who planned to wrap up Vinayak’s movie and release it by Dussehra could not spare time. Working in three films simultaneously, Charan is unable to cater full time to any of them. So this movie has been removed from October race and is now looking at Sankranthi, as per sources. End result is, both Mahesh and Charan will not have one more movie this year and they have completed 2012 with one hit each.

Radhakrishna Is 'Samaikya Ugravaadi'!

The Telangana protagonists are fretting and fuming at the report carried by Andhra Jyothy Telugu daily on Saturday quoting union home ministry sources that the UPA government has decided against granting separate Telangana state and the same is being conveyed to the brief note to be submitted to new President Pranab Mukherjee.

The Telangana Advocates JAC stormed the office of Andha Jyothy in Jubilee Hills in the afternoon and raised slogans against its managing director V Radhakrishna.

The advocates took objection to the report which said the Centre would indicate to the President that the granting of separate Telangana state would lead to a lot of troubles geographically and also kick up water disputes between the regions; and hence, it would like to follow the sixth recommendation of the Justice Srikrishna Committee.

The JAC argued that the home ministry would not send any independent reports to the President, but would only brief about the issues without any recommendations.

“The report was part of the conspiracy hatched by Radhakrishna to sabotage the Telangana movement. He is a Samaikya Ugravaadi” (Integration terrorist),” the JAC said and demanded an unconditional apology from him.

Chiru ignoring his biz partner!

It has been nearly two and a half months since noted industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad has been arrested in the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, being probe into by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

His arrest has disturbed the entire industrial climate in the state. Several VIPs and well-wishers called on him at the jail and extended their solidarity with him. Even top film stars like Akkineni Nagarjua, Mohan Babu and Vishnu called on Nimmagadda in the Chanchalguda jail. In fact, Nagarjuna went to jail for the second time on Friday, because he is a partner to Nimmagadda, while Mohan Babu described his arrest as the most unfortunate development in the industrial sector.

However, one person who did not visit Chanchalguda jail to call on Nimmagadda was megastar-turned-Congress MP Chiranjeevi. Everybody knows Chiranjeevi was a business partner of Nimmagadda Prasad in Maa TV. Though there were reports that Chiranjeevi had withdrawn from Maa TV network, he is said to be still having a minor stake in the network. If not as a Congress leader, Chiranjeevi should have called on Nimmagadda at a personal level. May be he thought he might have to face Jaganmohan Reddy in the jail.

Prabhas Career in Danger?

Young Rebel Star prabhas's cine career reminds us a snail's walk. His 'Rebel' movie has been on the floors for a long while for innumerable reasons. The director Lawrence is said to have the main culprit of the delay of the release of the movie. Next comes, the music director Thaman, who left the project in the middle of the shoot of the movie. Replacement of heroines is said to be the other reason for the movie's delay. At last, the movie is releasing in the month of September.  Meanwhile, prabhas's fans are getting embarrassed with the future project of prabhas in the combo of the director Rajamouli. Like his previous movies, if Rajamouli takes one or two years duration for the canning of the film, The project will be out only in the year, 2014. Even then, if the movie breaks the records of industry hit 'Magadheera', they may heave a sigh of relief. But again they are getting worried as Rajamouli has no industry hits so far except 'Magadheera'. The best option is prabhas should do one or two projects simultaneously along with Rajamouli's project so that he will always keep in touch with his fans and cine audiences

Can Puri get That Rare Record with 'CGR'?

As far as the present  generation directors are concerned, puri jagannadh and S.S.Rajamouli are the only directors to have given one industry hit movie each in their careers. puri jagannadh gave his industry hit movie  'Pokiri' in the year, 2006  Prince Mahesh Babu and Ileana were the star cast of that film. Later, 'Pokiri's full run records were broken by S.S.Rajamouli's 'Magadheera'. Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal were the leading star cast of that movie. There after, no movie of tollywood has broken the records of 'Magadheera'. puri jagannadh has given the hits like 'Deshamuduru', 'Chirutha' and 'Businessman' after his 'Pokiri' while Rajamouli has given hits like 'Maryada Ramanna' and 'Eega'. However, none of the above movies crossed previous industry hit's records.  Looks like, puri jagannadh has rather better chance to break the all time records of tollywood, as he is currently directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan for 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. It is a known thing that Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' has almost come nearer to 'Magadheera' records and his craze is currently at its peaks among the trade circles. At this juncture, if 'CGR' gets hit talk, it is going to be a cake walk for him to cross all the records of tollywood through CGR. Subsequently, Puri might become the one and only director of tollywood to have given two industry hits among the present day directors. Will it be happened? Let's wait and watch.

UKUP's Shocking Songs

Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj starrer 'uu kodathara ulikki padathara' was released on 27th July and received mixed responses from the audiences. Most of the audiences are said to have shocked with the picturization of two songs in the movie and the details of those songs are as follows. PRATHEE KSHANAM NARAKAME: This was the first song of the movie. This song comes when Manoj wants to disclose his background to scare some of the comedians in the movie. Many violent scenes, bloodshed and horrible shots were canned in this song. 'Children will definitely, fear of watching this song', say the audiences. ABBABBA ABBABBA: If the above song was filled with full of violence, this song was shot in an erotic way. As many as six girls dance with him along with Deeksha Seth. Manoj appears in a tribal get up in this song and though they look natural, his gestures seemed to be awkward in this song

Mega Family Dominating Tollywood-2012

Celebrity families of Telugu industry are trying quite hard to entertain their fans with some stunning movies. But most of them are tumbling at Box Office due to lack of proper hits and due to poor number of releases. One family is giving a full ticket value for their fans this year.

First half of 2012 is finished already and second half is waiting for some more big-masala movies. Other than Mega family heroes, no other celebrity gangs of Tollywood are ready to give treat for the whole year. Already we have seen 'Racha' and 'Gabbar Singh' from power-heroes and they are ready with few more flicks for the rest of 2012.

Allu Arjun is coming shortly with 'Julayi' and this will be followed by Pawan's 'Rambabu'. Later, there is a possibility of Sai Dharam Tej's 'Rey' and Allu Sirish is gearing up with 'Gowravam'. On a whole, there will be six movies from mega heroes to enthral their mega fans, which is a sort of record for a celebrity-family.

Coming to Nandamuri heroes, only two films 'Adhinayakudu' and 'Dammu' are released so far, and there will be two more only. From Akkinneni family, there will be two movies from Nag and one from Naga Chaitanya probably. Daggubati and Manchu families are negligible from the race.

It is only Nandamuri family who are having as numbers of heroes as Mega family, but most of them are on the verge of extinction. We have to see which family of Tollywood can put up a fight with Mega-heroes now!

Balayya - Pawan - Nayantara - Tamanna

One might wonder how these four names are linked up as a heading. Yes, there is something common between these four persons now, other than the fact that they are star heroes and star heroines of Tollywood.

Nandamuri hero Balayya, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, milky beauty Tamanna and ravishing seductress Nayantara are all playing a character related to media in their upcoming films.

We all know that Pawan and Tamanna are playing the roles related to TV channel in their upcoming 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. While Tamanna is a reporter, Pawan is said to be a secret reporter. Likewise, Balayya is also playing the role of journalist in his upcoming 'Srimannarayana'. After return to acting from a long break, Nayan is doing the role of documentary film maker in Krish's 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. Indirectly, her role is also a part of media.

Puri Brings back 'Cowboy' Pawan

Long back, Power Star pawan kalyan was seen as 'Cowboy' in one of the songs from his super hit movie 'Badri'. The lyrics of this song goes on, 'Ye Chikitha'. Puri Jagannadh made his debut through this movie as a director. Later, pawan kalyan was again seen in cowboy get up in the song 'Neevalle..neevalle' from 'Annavaram' movie. Both these get ups indicate pawan kalyan's interest on cowboy get up. It is now heard that pawan kalyan will again be seen in cowboy get up for the movie 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. Currently, this song is being shot between pawan kalyan and Tamannah by the director Puri Jagannadh.  'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is touted to be a message oriented satirical entertainer. Senior music director Manisharma is scoring the music of this film. The movie is produced by D.V.V.Danayya under Universal Media. The movie will hit the screens on 18th October.

Rajamouli on mission to make Prabhas a 'King'

At the time when all the Top Heroes in the Industry are more than happy to work with him, Rajamouli is on a mission to complete his prior commitments before accepting new offers. After the super success of Eega, this ace filmmaker has announced his next project with Prabhas putting an end to speculations. Will this film be another commercial potboiler in the lines of Chatrapathi or Will Rajamouli try to explore a new angle in Prabhas are the questions raised by the movie lovers. At last, Jakanna has given a hint on the subject of his upcoming film with Prabhas.

In one of his recent interviews, Rajamouli revealed his desire to make a film on our Kings with Prabhas in the lead. Saying that we have many captivating stories regarding our kings, he expressed his intention to show them in a new light. Although the script of the film is yet to be finalized, sources close to the director say the subject will be on the Kakateeya dynasty.

Mega Family on a National Mission

The only way to expand profits in film business is to gain as much as possible or the maximum market available. Telugu cinema some time ago was constrained only to Andhra Pradesh and few centers of remaining neighborhood states. But now, we are seeing a gigantic growth in film trade with Digital Prints crossing the oceans. In the same way, this is also the right time for regional cinema to expand the roots into National arena. Rightly, Mega family seems to be taking the lead in this standing as a front runner. Yes, we know that Chiranjeevi was one of the first heroes not only to raise the commercial bar of Telugu films but also to step into Bollywood doing hit projects like ‘Pratibandh’ and ‘Aaj Ka Goondaraj.’ Now, Pawan is traveling in the same line and is all set to rock Mumbai with a high budget flick under the production house of Konda Krishnam Raju. On the other side, ramcharan is already in Mumbai with ‘Zanjeer’ and of course proven his market in Tamil. Comedy on 'Dookudu' Collections

Director Bheemaneni Srinivas Rao has taken a route of targeting direct satires on all the so called records of Telugu films. Particularly, the kind of controversy created by the opening collections of ‘Dookudu’ is still remembered by all. ‘Sudigaadu’ starring Allari Naresh and Monal Gajjar in lead role has got the first trailer released and it’s a stomach breaking experience which is worth watch-able. Trailer starts off with ridiculing of ‘Dookudu’ collections intended to expose the truth. Even the kind of Telugu font (same as ‘Dookudu’) used by Bheemaneni to read their ‘Sudigaadu’ collection as Rs.350 Crores on first day is quite appreciable. 24th July is said to be a very special day for mega brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan's 'Tholiprema' was released on 24th July, 1998 and Chiranjeevi's 'Indra' movie was released on 24th July, 2002. Check out the details of those movies. THOLIPREMA: This was the first blockbuster in  the career of Pawan Kalyan. This romantic entertainer is considered to be the trendsetter, as many movies have been made with the similar concept after the release of 'Tholiprema'. This movie ran 100 days in 21 direct centers and 200 days in 2 centers. In Sandhya 70mm of Hyderabad, this movie ran for 218 days while in Liberty theater of Guntur, this movie ran for 225 days. This movie received 6 state Nandi awards and one national award for best popular feature film.  INDRA: This was the 8th industry hit of Megastar Chiranjeevi. This faction based movie collected an all time record share of Rs.33 crores( including satellite and audio rights) and broke the previous record share 24 crores, collected by 'Khushi'. 'Cherry' Movie Record Business in Guntur

Mega Power Star ram charan and ace director V.V.Vinayak's 'Cherry'(tentatively titled) movie's rights for Guntur area have been sold out to an all time record price of Rs.3.40 crores to Hari Films. As per the sources, this business shows the star power of ram charan and Vinayak's charisma as a director in the cine trade. Sexy heroine Kajal Aggarwal and cute baby Amala Paul are doing opposite to ram charan in this mass, comedy and action entertainer.  S.S.Thaman is providing the music of this film. Chiranjeevi's super hit song 'Subhalekha rasukunna' is being remixed for this movie and it will be shot between Cherry and Kajal. D.V.V.Danayya is producing this movie under the banner Universal Media. This movie will be releasing this year end

Chiru's 2nd Industry Hit Completes 25

Megastar chiranjeevi's industry hit movie 'Pasiwadi Pranam' was released on 23rd July, 1987  and completed 25 years of its release on 23rd July, 2012. The highlights of this movie are as follows. * 'Pasiwadi Pranam' collected a share of Rs.4.5 crores and stood as an industry hit of tollywood then. Earlier, his 'Khaidi' collected Rs.4 crores share and stood as the first industry hit for him. * 'Pasiwadi Pranam' ran 100 days in 10 direct centers. It was an all time record for the movies which were released in slab system.  * This movie ran 175 days directly in Tirupathi with 5 shows regularly( not 4 shows). It is still an unbeatable record even today.  * Although chiranjeevi had been enjoying the status of unofficial number one hero of tollywood since 'Khaidi', media recognized him as official number one hero of tollywood through this movie. * chiranjeevi introduced 'Break dance' in this movie to tollywood through the song, 'Chakkni chukkala sandita break dance'.  * Vijayashanthi's glamour was the added  advantage to this movie. * Chakravarthi composed superb tunes for this movie. Manchu Lakshmi takes up '30 crores' Challenge

Manchu family is eagerly waiting for this Friday to rise as their ambitious project Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara is releasing on that day. This is the biggest film ever made from Mohanbabu's banner. As per the producer, Manchu Lakshmi, the budget of UKUP is Rs 23,86,24,000. This doesn't include the prints and publicity cost. Also the interest for the finances is not added. The given amount is the cost of production of UKUP which includes post production expenses and remunerations.

This film was planned as a medium budget venture at the start. But with Balakrishna's inclusion they got the courage to double the estimated budget and are expecting to earn good profits from it. UKUP will have to make at least Rs. 30 crores to breakeven, which means it should score the biggest hit in entire history of 'Manchu' movies.

Lakshmi Manchu is confident that audiences would lap this film up as it falls in the league of Chandramukhi and Arundathi. They believe that Balakrishna could make the difference and make it a huge hit. As per the unit members, Balakrishna's role in this film would be like Rajanikanth's in Pedarayudu. His screen time is around 20 minutes and the impact of his character would be there throughout the second half.

If Jagan Becomes CM, What About Us?

Celebrity face of Telangana Rashtra Samithi has expressed a doubt regarding their position if at all Jagan become CM in 2014. TRS MP Vijayashanti has held a press meet today to condemn Vijayamma's dharna in Sircilla.

'If Jagan becomes CM, what about us? Our position in T-area will be miserable if YSR-C comes to power. That party is full of rowdies and gundas', Vijayashanti accused. The dynamic lady MP expressed fear that Telangana will be ruled by Rayalseema factionists if Jagan comes to power. In view of some the fights that happened today at Sircilla between Jagan party's cadres and TRS supporting students, Vijayashanti said this. 'To kill the T-cause, CM Kiran has joined hands with the Jagan during prez poll and this is their second step', she adds. The MP demanded YSR-C to declare their stand on Telangana.

TRS is fighting from the last 10 years and there is no development from their side to the region despite of huge fights and damages to property. Let TRS declare their stand about welfare of people first!

'Shivering Started In All Political Parties'

With TDP Supreme getting a breather in Supreme Court on the illegal assets petition filed by Vijayamma, he has started attacking his opponents to a maximum. Chandrababu has once again fired his best weapon, through which he wants to pin down everyone in 2014 general elections.

'With our BC declaration, shivering started in all political parties. None of the parties in the state has done such huge favor to the backward communities till date', stated Naidu. He advised all his opponents to stop criticizing Telugudesam and to come up with their plan for BCs. 'The declaration given by us is 100% possible and we will show all these blabbering opponents how we will bring our words to life', he stressed. As he got good opportunity, he has once again repeated all those quid-pro-quo accusations and failure of Congress in giving current.

Like a newly married guy wandering around his wife, Naidu and TDP are doing rounds around 'BC declaration'. Though there are many other issues in the state, it looks only this particular strategy is a safe bet for Cycle-walas. 

Mega Confusion: 150th Film Or Cabinet Ministry?

With state politics taking many interesting turns every day, Megastar Chiranjeevi is still sitting silent without any public appearances. Insiders revealed that he is struck at cross roads regarding his future.

Mega producer Allu Aravind revealed to some media persons the other day that Chiru is waiting for the Cabinet Minister post to start work on his 150th film. With Pranab's exit from cabinet, surely there will be a shuffle in the posts and Chiru is waiting eagerly. So, Megastar is quite ready for his 150th film but only waiting for the Minister post to start it.Seems like there is no connection between these two, but it is true.

They say that Chiru is struck with the fear that Congress might reject him off the post saying that he damaged the image of party by acting in films again. If there is no such feeling, then why such a huge delays to start that most awaited flick?

One would really wonder what Chiru will get with that Cabinet Minister post that lasts less than a couple of years. Maybe, only Allu Aravind can tell the importance of that post than his 150th movie!

Manoj to Steal the show in UKUP?

Given the kind of its visuals and the performances shown in the trailers of 'Uu Kodathaaraa..Ulikki Padathaaraa..', it is understood that Manchu manoj is surely going to steal the show. His terror striking performance, sadistic looks and athletic body appear he will create some sort of magic in the movie. Also much interest on the project is being generated to watch the movie at the earliest. Even though Balakrishna is doing a cameo with some of his trade mark powerful dialogues,manoj seems to have surpassed him as well through his interesting performance. Well, we need to see how well the movie has come out and we need to wait for five more days to know the result.  Deeksha Seth is doing opposite to manoj in this movie. Bobo Shashi is composer of the music. A set worth of Rs.6.5 crores has been erected to shoot major part of the film. Sekhar Raja  directed this movie on the banner Manchu Entertainments owned by Lakshmi Manchu. The movie is hitting the screens on 27th of this month.
