In the same way, Pawan Kalyan who is always believed by makers for safe BO adventures irrespective of movie result is also known to have hiked his pay cheque post the success of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Of course, the final figures aren’t clearly known, it is still heard that Abbai ramcharan is also competing with Babai Pawan in this aspect. Perhaps, Cherry neither had a solid hit prior to ‘Rachcha’ (after ‘Magadheera’) and even his following is mostly inherited from dad unlike Pawan Kalyan developed his own stature. As per the information from confidential film circles, Cherry’s fee for each film is almost with in the equal range of Pawan Kalyan. Yet producers like Aswini Dutt and others are still in the queue.

When will 'Magadheera' Records Break?

One might have seen Pawan Kalyan’s stamina with ‘Gabbar Singh’ or Mahesh Babu’s capacity with ‘Dookudu’ or SS Rajamouli’s vision with ‘Eega’ but not even one of them touched the records of ‘Magadheera’ which stood high and unreachable. Thanks to that Charan and Rajamouli’s combo flick which was filled with too many ‘Wow’ factors. There were quite a number of good hits witnessed on Telugu screen post ‘Magadheera,’ unfortunately the said ‘Wow’ factors were missing in all of them. As per the buzz from inner sources, Rajamouli is determined to break his own records this time in combination with prabhas. Yes, Jakkanna is eager to start the shoot of high budgeted flick with prabhas which will go on sets by this year end. In order to make sure that ‘Magadheera’ will be pushed to second place, Rajamouli is heard of taking enough care to bring the new commercial face in Rebel Star. While the trade of other young heroes like Mahesh, Charan and Tarak is multiplied by number of times in recent years, caliber of prabhas alone is untapped till now. Given the right story line and required number of punching action scenes, prabhas and Rajamouli can beat ‘Magadheera’ easily and that time could be only in 2013 or 14.

'Racha' was The Answer for 'Magadheera'

Comparisons between ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Eega’ or contributions of Rajamouli and ramcharan to the industry records of ‘Magadheera’ have already got a solid answer only if Sampat Nandi and ‘Racha’ are taken as a case study. Yes, ramcharan is obviously a Born Mega Star with duty allocated to take the Mega Legacy forward. Ever since Chiranjeevi missed cinema field, Fans started to feel the same Mega Pride in both Charan and Pawan. So, ‘Magadheera’ might be a directorial wonder from Rajamouli but it’s the Star Power of ramcharan which took movie to the Everest Peak of Success. If ‘Magadheera’ was to be credited into Rajamouli account, surely ‘Racha’ will question against it? By the time ‘Magadheera’ was made, Rajamouli has a solid following similar to the craze what we have seen yesterday for ‘Eega.’ Yes, Rajamouli is a brand but director Sampat Nandi did not possess any such value before making of ‘Racha’ which actually stood in top 3 industry records and that too at a time when ramcharan’s career was questioned with a dropped ‘Merupu’ and a flop ‘Orange.’ So, the answer is there within. A director’s duty ends only with making the product readied for release. Then, it’s the Star Stamina of Hero which rules the judgment. Experimental Projects might have to rely on a Director's Name and Fame but Mass Commercial Movies always stand upon a Hero's Craze and Following.

How is MG Different From Other Film's?

Mega Power Star ram charan's industry hit movie 'Magadheera' completed three years of its release on 31st July, 2012. The movie created innumerable records which are unbreakable even today. Among these records, the movie achieved a special record and surely, it is said that the rarest of the rare records. Going  by the details, as of now, Telugu industry has seen a couple of industry hits in its 81 years of history. Among these industry hits, no industry hit has crossed the previous industry hit with double the share margin except 'Magadheera'. In 2006, Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri' turned out to be an industry hit and collected a share of Rs.40 crores. 'Magadheera' collected a share of Rs.78 crores in Telugu version alone excluding audio and satellite rigthts. If Tamil and Malayalam versions are taken into consideration, the movie collected a total share of Rs.86+ crores excluding audio and satellite rights. If any movie in future wishes to level this record( double the share of 'Magadheera') the movie has to collect a share of Rs.180 crores. Will it be possible? Lets wait and watch.

Can Puri get That Rare Record with 'CGR'?

As far as the present  generation directors are concerned, puri jagannadh and S.S.Rajamouli are the only directors to have given one industry hit movie each in their careers. puri jagannadh gave his industry hit movie  'Pokiri' in the year, 2006  Prince Mahesh Babu and Ileana were the star cast of that film. Later, 'Pokiri's full run records were broken by S.S.Rajamouli's 'Magadheera'. Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal were the leading star cast of that movie. There after, no movie of tollywood has broken the records of 'Magadheera'. puri jagannadh has given the hits like 'Deshamuduru', 'Chirutha' and 'Businessman' after his 'Pokiri' while Rajamouli has given hits like 'Maryada Ramanna' and 'Eega'. However, none of the above movies crossed previous industry hit's records.  Looks like, puri jagannadh has rather better chance to break the all time records of tollywood, as he is currently directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan for 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. It is a known thing that Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' has almost come nearer to 'Magadheera' records and his craze is currently at its peaks among the trade circles. At this juncture, if 'CGR' gets hit talk, it is going to be a cake walk for him to cross all the records of tollywood through CGR. Subsequently, Puri might become the one and only director of tollywood to have given two industry hits among the present day directors. Will it be happened? Let's wait and watch.

Both Cherry n Rajamouli are the Winners

The time when 'Magadheera' was released, an interesting discussion went on about the credit for the success of the movie. Some of the cine folks claimed that complete credit should be given to Rajamouli for having made such a masterpiece to tollywood. And ram charan had nothing do with the movie. If any hero acted in the place of  ram charan , the movie would have tasted the same result. In contrast, some more movie goers said that ram charan sure to get much credit for the movie's success as Rajamouli had never had given such an industry hit to tollywood. On the other hand, some more people felt that the movie's success was the collective effort of entire cast and crew of the movie.  Interestingly, it appeared that both ram charan and Rajamouli had taken the above matter seriously. ram charanwould have thought he could give a blockbuster even with an 'unceeded' director and he acted in the direction of  Sampath Nandi for the movie 'Rachcha'. Dookudu the so called biggest hit fell on to the knees of Tollywood's BIGGEST EVER RECORD HIT Magadheera. Dookudu managed to sustain only 63 theaters for 100 days by blocking theaters of Panjaa & other movies but still Dookudu(63)(39 direct + 24 shift)  is 1/3 of Magadheera(232)(223 direct + 9 shift) .
