Sourav Ganguly denies tiff with Shahrukh Khan

Ever since Sourav Ganguly has been left out of Shahrukh’s team, Kolkata Knight Riders, for the IPL season this year, there have been rumors suggesting that the relationship between the two has soured. Though Shahrukh has always maintained that he wished Ganguly success in whatever he may choose to do next, Sourav has had very little to say about the subject.

However, Sourav, in a recent conversation with the IANS, has set the records straight by stating that the reports about his clash with SRK are untrue, as the B-town superstar is a very good friend of his
.

"Shah Rukh is just like my elder brother and he will remain so," says Sourav. He clarifies that he does not know where the stories about a cold war come from, and that the stories are wrong.

"I don't know from where these false stories of clash between me and Shah Rukh have come up. There is no such thing. It is totally wrong. Shah Rukh is a good friend of mine and I know him for a long time. KKR is a sensitive and emotional team for me. I want it to win," said Ganguly.

The KKR were strong on the filed in the IPL this season, and gave Shahrukh Khan plenty to cheer about all season long. Sourav made an appearance for the Pune Warriors, but could not do much to change the fortunes of the the bottom placed IPL team.
