Chiru's Hand In Choking Sakshi's Freedom?

Politicians leave no single clue or idea that strikes their mind to attack the opposition to get power and to stay in power. After those IT raid accusations, Congress MP Chiranjeevi is now facing accusations that he is the one playing a major role in choking the freedom of Sakshi paper and TV.

If sources of Sakshi paper and TV are claiming that supressing the 'freedom of press' is unlawful, government is saying that media-houses established with fraud money comes under illegal activities. However, the scene took a new turn with CBI requesting the government to attach those assets of Jagan, which prevent further transactions of the media house. There are all possible chances that the publishing of paper and airing of TV to come to a staggering halt. 

Analysts are saying that Sonia Gandhi has taken the complaint of Chiru seriously regarding the airing of fake-stories by Sakshi Media about those IT raids. Fearing further image damaging acts for Congress by Sakshi TV, Centre has forced CBI to put a full stop to the activities of the media-houses, says a YSR party worker. Is this really a revenge act, Mr.Chiru?

Last days for Sakshi Paper

Sakshi paper the so called mouth piece of Jagan which was launched with only motto to bring back YSR into power raised funds through illegal means and government ads  is counting its last days as

The state government has decided to stop all advertisement support to the Jagathi Group of Companies owned by YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the same time government  on a move to seize properties.

According to sources, the information and public relations department prepared a draft Government Order on Sunday evening, in consultation with the law department, to stop all advertisements to the Telugu daily Sakshi and Sakshi Television.

An official associated with drafting the Government Order told this correspondent that the state is of the opinion that the Jagathi Group was established with ill-gotten money and the CBI has prima facie established that the investments by various companies was in exchange for favours done when YSR was the CM.

An official source revealed that it was the opinion of the legal experts that when the CBI has established a prima facie in the alleged offences against the Jagathi Group, it is unethical to continue support to the publication and broadcasting company by giving it government advertisements. Sources say the Government Order will be issued in a couple of days

Sakshi's Ointment For Dasari's Wounds

Along with the humiliating flop of ‘Parama Veera Chakra’, the recent verbal attacks by Ramcharan Tej have hurt Dasari Narayana Rao. Now, he is gearing up for a counter attack and he is receiving strong support from an unexpected corner- the Sakshi newspaper.

Recently, Sakshi gave a special feature on ‘Bobbili Puli’ made by Dasari. Apart from films like ‘Magadheera’  ‘Pokiri’ which were run for records, the newspaper came up with a list of ten genuine hits since the birth of Tollywood.

Among the ten, Dasari’s ‘Bobbili Puli’ ‘Premabhishekam’ are present. The story also mentioned how ‘Bobbili Puli’ inspired N T Rama Rao to get into politics and how the people were influenced by the film to see him in that avatar.
