Mega Gates to open on New Year

Ever since Mega camp enjoyed the industry hit Magadheera, nothing seems to have worked in their favor from then on. Making 2011, a forgettable year was the dud Panjaaclosing the year on a tragic note. Not to disappoint the Fans anymore, here comes the latest buzz about first look of racha ready for release on January 1, 2012 on the eve of welcoming the New Year.

With positive reports flowing about movie all around the industry, definitely producers are also hoping to open the business gates of racha with this first teaser. There are too many hopes pinned upon Charan as racha has become a crucial project for his career after the sudden shelving of Merupu and a flop Orange. Director Sampat Nandi is known to have shown unique skill in designing the characterization of Ramcharan. Let us wish that, everything works for this flick.

Real Reason behind 'Panjaa'!?

Why is it that opening collections of panjaa are not exposed to audience and especially Power Star Fans? Apparently movie might be a flop but first two weeks of revenues were one of the top most in Tollywood once again displaying the Box Office stamina of Pawan Kalyan. One of the trade sources envisioned that there might be a real reason behind such move by panjaa producers and this is what he explains.

In fact, over expanded figures of Dookudu resulted in Income Tax Raids on the houses and offices of Producers and Hero. The kind of controversial and unnecessary debate Dookuduraised in market with a declaration of erasing Magadheera records is already seen. On the other side, one week wonder of Junior NTRs Oosaravelli has also betrayed the Fans and audience in general. Due to lack of exposure in manipulating the numbers and being relatively new comers in film industry, producers of panjaa might have stayed away from unnecessary pomp. Instead of going for Dookudu and Oosaravelli kind of extrinsic techniques, panjaa waned off gradually without making much sound

Business Man Preponement is a Suicidal Attempt?

For the past two days, a big gossip is making rounds that Mahesh Babu’s ‘Businessman’ is going to be preponed. As per this, the movie would be releasing on 6th January instead of the scheduled release date of 11th January. The reason behind this is the distributors and the exhibitors, who are forcing the makers torelease the film one week prior to the scheduled date so that they can avoid any clash with other big releases. Although the makers are re-thinking about changing the release date, there is one thing that is stopping them from doing this.

As per the inside sources, the makers are not fully confident about the film and are worrying about other big oppositions like ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Nippu’. If they release the movie on 6th and if it gets divided talk, other movies will get benefited and its impact will be on their movie. Also, 6th January is deadly un-season than 11th January, so it is a wrong strategy if makers are going release the film in the first week of January. Let us see what decision the makers are going to take

Puri Jagannadh Orders Thaman Suffers

Music director SS Thaman who had arrived on the Telugu music scene few years ago with a bang has from then on slowly created a name for him. Peppy songs with energetic rhythms has been his forte and he has been delivering them consistently too. Currently the young music director has left behind all the competition and has laid a true claim to being the top music director of Telugu cinema with almost all the biggies in his hand.

Now where does Puri Jaganadh figure into all these, confused? Well read on. The young music director so far in his few years of career has faced lot of criticism too that off being too noisy or giving repetitive music or having no variations and things like but has so far never been accused of copying or lifting music i.e. plagiarizing. But finally with Businessman, Thaman had to face this charge too.

And this is where Puri Jagannadh comes into picture. It is believed that it’s on the force or insistence of the director that many music directors have to lift a particular song. Many such instances like this can be seen in the past too in Puri Jagannadh films where by to finish the film in time and at the same time to have a popular chartbuster song the director asks the music director to re arrange an already existing popular tune. The blame however almost all the time falls on the music director though. Now whether Thaman was a victim of such circumstance or really a copycat can be known only in the future if the music director lifts another tune. For the time being we believe he should be given a pass, especially for a film of Puri Jagannadh film looking at his history

Dookudu Sentiment Works Out For Bodyguard ?

‘Nee Dookudu’, the title song of ‘Dookudu’, has been filmed very well and it has been a big hit too. Hot and sexy Meenakshi Dixit danced for that song. Now, this Dookudu girl seems to have impressed ‘Bodyguard’ makers as they reportedly made an item number with her and they are hoping for the same sentiment to repeat again to make ‘Bodyguard’ a blockbuster hit like ‘Dookudu’. We have to wait till 12th Janauary to see whether Meenakshi Dixit becomes a sentiment girl or ends up as a one film wonder.

Ravi teja's Nippu finishes entire Shooting

Ravi teja's upcoming movie Nippu has finished the entire shooting portion of the movie and proceeding to its post-production works of the film. The makers are busy to complete all patch works of the movie as to release the movie on January 13th on the eve of Sankranthi.

Deeksha Seth is romancing Ravi teja in Nippu movie while Guasekhar is shaping up the film as a mass entertainer with ample of comedy in it.Thaman is rendering tunes for Nippu movie and the audio launch of Nippu is in the last week of December.

YVS Chowdary is producing Nippu movie under Bommarillu banner.Nippu is slated to release on Jan 13th,2012.

Clash Between two Mass Heroes

Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Dammu’ and Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’ are the two most sought after mass and commercial entertainers to be released in 2012. ‘Rachcha’ release date has been postponed from February to March ending. On the other hand, Jr.NTR’s ‘Dammu’ slated for 5th April release. So, it is understood that there will be a gap of just one week between the two releases.

‘Dammu’ is being directed by Boyapati Srinu and is expected to be mixed with full of mass masala in it. Trisha and Karthika are pairing up with NTR in this movie. Jr.NTR is doing a double role in this flick. Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’ is being directed by Sampath Nandi and Tamanna is the female lead. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Vana Vana Velluvaye’ song is remixed for this movie.

As both of the heroes have powerful craze among the masses and also the movies are being canned as mass entertainers, it is definitely going to be a huge clash between the two heroes. Let us wait and see whether the makers will stick to the same dates and let the clash happen or not

'Gabbar Singh' in Makeover Process

Power star Pawan Kalyan who has been known for raging blockbusters has not been able to score the same power in the recent past at the box office. Now, it is heard that since his recent release 'Panjaa' became a dud, a lot is happening on his ongoing project 'Gabbar Singh'.

The fact that this is the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg' has brought a familiarity aspect. So, inside sources say the film is now going through some major rework process in terms of script. Buzz is that the focus is on etching it which suits the image of Pawan Kalyan and develop more nativity.

This is directed by Harish Shankar and a new schedule is planned in Hyderabad. Unit members say that the storyline is similar to 'Dabangg' but then enough work has now happened on the script so one cannot really feel it is a remake. Well, as long as the film scores a hit, the changes and reworks should not matter

Producer refuses Samantha's tempting offer

We are aware that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has filed a complaint against Samantha in Producers Council and Movie Artists Association (MAA) for violating the agreement she has signed with him in February this year. After considering the complaint, the Committee has directed the actress to allot fresh dates to the film which is being directed by Nandini Reddy.

However, Samantha is right now unable to allot dates to Bellamkonda's film. Currently, she has five big budget films in her kitty. Her films 'Eega' with Nani and Rajamouli, 'Autonagar Surya' with Naga Chaitanya and Deva Katta, Tri-lingual film with Nani and Gautham Menon were on the sets. And Mahesh's 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' and RamCharan's 'Evadu' are in the pipeline.

"Samantha signed Bellamkonda's film in February 2011. The makers have assured to her that the shooting will be wrapped up by August. But the film didn't go to the floors till now, as the lead actor wasn't confirmed. In the meantime, Samantha became the most sought after actress in Tollywood. She even signed some exciting projects with top filmmakers. Now, Siddharth was roped into Bellamkonda's film and the makers were pressurizing Samantha to allot fresh dates," said a source close to the actress.

Samantha conveyed her inability to Bellamkonda Suresh and she even promised to sign a two film deal with him next year, for relieving her from Siddharth-Nandini Reddy's film. But, the Producer was adamant and clarified that he will lose a lot of money if Samantha (Lucky Mascot - All her films in Telugu were superhits) walks out of the film

Pawan Kalyan's 'Kusthi' with AS

Power star Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with the shooting of his film 'Gabbar Singh' and this it the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg'. If one can recall, the original had Salman Khan getting into a wrestling fight of sorts with the villain Sonu Sood in the climax.

Since then, many in Tollywood have been discussing on how the climax fight in 'Gabbar Singh' would be. Obviously, they are not expecting Pawan to take off his shirt. While that is one side, here is another version. So far, it was heard that Sonu Sood is reprising his role in the Telugu version as well.

But the latest update is that it is not Sonu Sood but Abhimanyu Singh who is the villain. Abhimanyu sent a shiver down the spine of many with his role as Bukka Reddy in 'Rakta Charitra'. Now, it is heard that he would be seen getting into a fight with Pawan in the climax. This should be interesting.

Gabbar Singh Villan Assured Pawan Kalyan

It is heard that Power Star Pawan Kalyan well impressed with the acting of Abimanya Singh in Raktha Charitra II, and he himself suggested the director to keep him in the villan role in Gabbar Singh. He is playing the role of Sonu Sood which is played in Hindhi version.

He thanked Pawan for suggesting him and he said he will give his best than that of Raktha Charitra he also said "Yes I have already completed two schedules. It’s a big budget film and people re waiting desperately to watch this film.I was pleasantly surprised to see that the director made my role much better and stronger than what Sonu Sood did in Dabangg.”
