Lawrence’s Kanchana rocks box office, especially in Nizam

Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana has turned out to be a huge hit at box office. The film opened with housefull collections at several centres across the state. Bellamkonda Suresh had bought the dubbing and distribution rights for the entire state and sources say that he’s extremely happy with the way the film has been doing at box office. In Nizam alone, the film was released in more than 80 theatres. The first week collections are expected to be humongous considering that it’s a dubbed film. Trade analysts predict that the film will collect a share of around Rs 1.75 crores in Nizam alone! If the film continues to sustain the momentum, the film might collect a share of around Rs 3 crores in Nizam in long run. If this happens, Bellamkonda Suresh would recover his entire investment from Nizam alone, which is brilliant by any yardstick.
The film has Lawrence, Sarath Kumar, Kovai Sarala and Laxmi Rai in lead roles. The horror film captured the attention of the audience especially in B & C Centres who have been watching the film in huge numbers. Lawrence has already announced that he’s going to make a sequel to Kanchana.
