According to reports from New Delhi, the Centre has given strict instructions to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate officials to go deep into the roots of Jagan’s financial irregularities. Since the high court has given the green signal for the preliminary inquiry, the Centre has asked the CBI to take up a serious investigation and find the loopholes to fix Jagan at any cost.
“Now that there are prima facie evidences, the CBI is focusing on concrete evidences to frame Jagan in its charge-sheet,” New Delhi sources said.
In the meantime, Jagan is expected to move Supreme Court on Saturday or Monday. He is confident that the CBI would not be able to find anything earth shaking on financial irregularities.
However, the Centre is planning to hit him politically and psychologically.
“That is why the Congress high command is deliberately delaying taking action against the rebel MLAs. It knows that once Jagan is exposed in public, they would come back to the Congress,” sources said.
