Andhra Pradesh government is planning to handover the maintenance and responsibility of 108 Emergency Response Service to K.Chiranjeevi from next month.
1-0-8 Emergency Response Service is a 24X7 emergency service for medical, police and fire emergencies. The service is available for the entire state of Andhra Pradesh.

Going by the record of Chiranjeevi’s experience of more than ten years in maintaining charitable trust, eye and blood banks succesfully, CM N.Kiran Kumar Reddy is planning to handover this responsibility to chiranjeevi and his CCT.
This is planned to happen after Chiranjeevi and his prajarajyam associates join congress party officially on 20th of this month in delhi.

GVK foundation, which was running this 108 emergecy service after Satyam group, was averse to bearing even five per cent cost and insisted on government bearing 100 per cent cost of the ambulance services.
Also they were not ready to take responsibility of Rs.42 crores loan raised by Satyam company from Axis Bank in medchal.
Chiranjeevi has discussed this issue with Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad recently.
Even PCC chief Botsa Satyanaranaya supported Chiranjeevi’s name for this service.
Chiru is planning to meet Sonia Gandhi personally during early september and get her approval before taking charge of 108 emergency services in state.
