Mahesh And Charan Don't Have It

Many thought that this year both Mahesh and Charan will come with two movies. Both planned with the same target and started their films. With ‘Businessman’ arriving in January Mahesh fans were sure that one more film is compulsory from Mahesh this year. ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is arriving on September 28th was the announcement.

But shooting is yet to be completed. Industry sources say the film will not be ready for October too. If October passes then good season for reason is only Sankranthi according to producer Dil Raju. Being a multi-starrer and that too a family treat, he is reportedly feeling that January is the right time.

Similarly, Charan who planned to wrap up Vinayak’s movie and release it by Dussehra could not spare time. Working in three films simultaneously, Charan is unable to cater full time to any of them. So this movie has been removed from October race and is now looking at Sankranthi, as per sources. End result is, both Mahesh and Charan will not have one more movie this year and they have completed 2012 with one hit each.

‘Ram Babu’ is more than ‘Surya Bhai’

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Businessman’ stands as a special film in Tollywood for director Puri Jagannath’s ultimate strength in scripting and dialogues. More than these two, the jet speed and propelling attitude of Puri making his cast, crew and producers rely on his making style stands as biggest of the achievement. Now, we hear that budget allocated for Pawan’s ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Ram Babu’ is higher than that of Surya Bhai for ‘Businessman.’ For a quick wrap up of shooting and post-production, obviously you need to hire more and spend more. In this case, ‘Businessman’ readied for release in a budget of approximately Rs.25 Crores isn’t bad at all. In the same speed, ‘Ram Babu’ will need a budget of more than this because special settings and high voltage action scenes are to cost more. More or less, remunerations of Pawan and Mahesh will be the same.
