'Eega' to Fill 'Magadheera' Deficit

Please do not interpret anything on your own, reading the above headline. We too know that ‘Magadheera’ from Ramcharan and Rajamouli was a stupendous hit and rewrote industry records in commercial terms. Although ‘Magadheera’ won many Awards, Mega Fans had an inner feeling that film was eligible to keep up a still better show if Allu Aravind lobbied more efficiently. For Rajamouli, there is every chance of ‘eega’ to fill the Awards deficit of ‘Magadheera.’ We are also aware of producer Daggubati Suresh Babu as an influential person who can manage and tilt the committees in our favor. Not to mention about Regional Categories, admirers of Rajamouli are asking to nominate ‘eega’ in National Categories to show the strength and advanced technology used in making of Telugu Cinema. Let us see, how far Suresh Babu takes this burden?

Rajamouli - True Succeessor of Dasari?!

Darshakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao is considered to be one of the legendary directors of tollywood. He is mostly known for his small budget movies, as many of them turned out to be big  hits at the box office. At one stage, he defied then big heroes of tollywood like NTR, ANR through his small budget flicks. Subsequently, he developed lot of affection towards small budget movie makers and the directors. At the same time, he developed rivalry against big heroes like Chiranjeevi.   Apparently, ace director S.S.rajamouli is following the footsteps of Dasari Narayana Rao. Although, he gave big hits with many star heroes, he is gradually changing himself the leader of small budget films. His 'Maryada Ramanna'  and 'Eega' movies proved to be the super hits at the box office and their successes inspired him developing hatred towards big heroes. Interestingly, Dasari also exhibited similar attitude towards big heroes long back. That's why, many filmy analysts are saying that rajamouli has turned out to be the true successor of legend Dasari Narayana Rao. Hope, rajamouli will also get legend status like Dasari in future.

Why Rajamouli Away from Star Heroes?

'Eega' kicked off with a super positive response at the box office. The director of this movie, rajamouli does not want to leave no stone unturned for the big success of this movie and so he started success tours in different parts of A.P. too early of its release. Interestingly, wherever he goes, he is giving a statement that he feels discomfort with star heroes and so he prefers to do movies with small heroes only. However, some of the sources are saying that in fact, star heroes are not interested to work with rajamouli for different reasons and those reasons are given below.

MEGA HEROES: Mega family understood that even though 'Magadheera' went on industry hit, some of the people tried to attribute the success credit to rajamouli only and they maximum tried their best to suppress Ram Chaaran's image. "That's why Ram Charan missed Nandi best actor award as well." says one of the sources. Having vexed with all these developments, mega heroes are heard to have taken the decision of not to do movies with rajamouli.

JR. NTR: Young Tiger NTR has been very much annoyed with rajamouli, as rajamouli has given an industry hit to his opponent hero Ram Charan. Also, rajamouli has not been accepting to work with NTR for some years. Thus, NTR also reportedly left rajamouli as his movie's director.

MAHESH BABU: Prince Mahesh Babu has such a shocking track record, he even rejected a movie in the direction of South Indian top director Shankar. As per the sources, Mahesh might have rejected an offer in the direction rajamouli as he wishes to give big hits with flop directors or young directors.

BOTTOM-LINE: For now, above notions regarding star heroes about rajamouli might be gossips, however, rajamouli's opinion about doing movies with star heroes has been evident with his controversial statements.

Ajith Billa isn't Feared of 'Eega'

Entire South India is buzzing on the film ‘Eega’ with the release being over-hyped in three languages. Rajamouli’s hold on the pulse of Telugu audience is once again proved right as roaring return crowds at theatres are to show us the kind of acceptance the movie has received. Like we said earlier, there is every possibility of Allu Arjun’s ‘Julaayi’ to go for aforethought postponement in release either to 20th or 27th of this month from the prescribed date of 13th. Well, one man who seems to be having no fears of ‘Eega’ is ‘Thala’ ajith. Director Chakri Toleti completing his fighting formalities with Censor Board has got ‘David Billa’ readied for release on 13th. Sources say that, nearly 1200 screens are booked all around the country to make this ‘Billa’ prequel a grand one. Let us see, how far this star hero will affect the conduct of ‘Naan Ee’ in Tamil and ‘Eega’ in Telugu.

Both Cherry n Rajamouli are the Winners

The time when 'Magadheera' was released, an interesting discussion went on about the credit for the success of the movie. Some of the cine folks claimed that complete credit should be given to Rajamouli for having made such a masterpiece to tollywood. And ram charan had nothing do with the movie. If any hero acted in the place of  ram charan , the movie would have tasted the same result. In contrast, some more movie goers said that ram charan sure to get much credit for the movie's success as Rajamouli had never had given such an industry hit to tollywood. On the other hand, some more people felt that the movie's success was the collective effort of entire cast and crew of the movie.  Interestingly, it appeared that both ram charan and Rajamouli had taken the above matter seriously. ram charanwould have thought he could give a blockbuster even with an 'unceeded' director and he acted in the direction of  Sampath Nandi for the movie 'Rachcha'. The movie turned out to be the third biggest hit of tollywood. Thus, he proved he would sure to claim the some part of  the share of  the success of the movie 'Magadheera'. In response to ram charan's act, Rajamouli wanted to prove he would not only give blockbusters to star heroes like ram charan, but also, could give a blockbuster with an insect like 'Eega' as the protagonist in his film. Subsequently, his latest movie 'Eega' was released recently and had turned out to be one of the blockbusters of this year. Having observed the moves of both the hero and the director, many analysts are saying that both ram charan and Rajamouli are the winners of this interesting battle.

Eega Is Remake Of English Movie “The Fly”

Sensational director S S Rajamouli who has created many records in Tollywood with his films is now searching for a Hollywood remakes. It is known that Rajamouli inspired the story of ‘The Hospitality’ a Hollywood movie which was released during 1930′s for ‘Marayada Ramanna’.

Now the hot buzz is that Rajamouli again using the story line of Hollywood film ’The Fly’ which was released on 1958 for Eega. M.M.Keeravani is scored music for this film and audio release on 30th march, movie release on 12th aprill.

Rajamouli's 'Eega' now goes International

Rajamouli's latest film 'Eega' is going to be a graphical extravaganza and the first of its kind in Telugu cinema.  Eega, a film where the hero dies and is reincarnated as a housefly to seek revenge from the villain. With Sudeep, Samantha and Nani starring in the film, the computer graphic-laden film has Tollywood fans eagerly looking forward to this mega-budget film. In fact, the film’s Hindi and English rights have already been purchased.

“I have acquired the rights for the story in Hindi and English as I found the concept exciting and very innovative. I’m sure it will be appreciated by fans across the world over,” says businessman-turned-film producer Ashok Kheny of AKK Media Limited, who seems to be keen on making interesting films for the fast evolving film audiences in India.

Kheny, we have learnt, has got a really good cast as well. “I will have Sudeep playing the same role that he is essaying in the Telugu original, that of the antagonist. I am looking at Shahid Kapoor to play the role of the protagonist in the film,” says Kheny, who wants to ensure that quality films and entertainment always find the right platform.
