Chiranjeevi fingering Charan's dreams

Megastar Chiranjeevi may not have time to do films due to his busy schedule in politics, but he is making sure that he has ample time to 'build' his son's career. Chiranjeevi is focused on Ram Charan's future as he doesn't want his son to slip away by delivering flops. He knows that continuous stream of success only makes a hero to reach the top.

With so much competition running between the current set of heroes for the number one seat, Megastar desperately wants his son to occupy the throne that he had left empty. Chiranjeevi with all his experience is giving inputs to Charan's films be it Telugu or Hindi. Charan's dream project Zanjeer now gets mega touch as Chiranjeevi advised to rope in a Telugu director to supervise the Telugu version shoot. Director Apoorva Lakhia and other crew members don't know a bit of Telugu and hence Chiranjeevi asked Yogi (Oka Raju Oka Rani, Chintakayala Ravi director) to do the job.

We don't know if this is a right move, but looking at Yogi's track record one would certainly raise doubts over Chiru's choice. Saying so, Chiranjeevi was the pillar for Racha success. His inputs and constant supervision over the film has made it a commercial hit. Chiranjeevi spent many nights to see that the final edit of Racha is satisfactory. Who knows, he might be right for Zanjeer as well. 

Priyanka Chopra Sings a Song For Zanzeer

Debut of Ramcharan in Bollywood has made ‘zanjeer’ a special project. Now, one more attraction is going to be added for the flick which makes it much more special. Yes, we hear that heroine Priyanka Chopra is going to sing a song for this movie. We do know of PC working very hard to make her debut International music album released with in very few weeks. At this juncture, director Apoorva Lakhia has zeroed upon Piggy Chops even to croon for ‘zanjeer’ and the sexy lady has accepted it. However, Apoorva has enough time till October to start his work on ‘zanjeer’ as Ramcharan is quite busy with regional commitments. By then, Priyanka will definitely release the music album. Sources say, the song in ‘zanjeer’ will be something tailored specially for her voice. Let us wish, a very all the best for this hot heroine to succeed in her new endeavors as a playback singer.

Ram Charan's @ Zanjeer Business Strategy!!

We are aware that the makers of Ram Charan's Bollywood debut ('Zanjeer' remake) have been gearing up to spend a whoofing Rs 70 crores on the film. Amit Mehra (S/o Prakash Mehra, who directed and produced 'Zanjeer' original) and Reliance Entertainment were jointly producing the remake of this iconic film.


However, the trade pundits have raised doubts over recovery of investments and declared that it would end up as another big-budget failure, pointing out that Charan is not a top star in B-Town and he's yet to prove his mettle there. Though the analysts say it's a risky move, the strategy of the makers seems to prove otherwise.

Firstly, the producers are planning to make 'Zanjeer' remake a bilingual (Hindi and Telugu). Ram Charan has a huge market in Telugu, on par with any other Top Hero. So, the makers don't want to miss that advantage. Usually, Charan's film in Tollywood does a pre-release business of Rs 40-45 crore and the dubbed versions (Tamil and Malayalam) of his films will fetch another Rs 3-5 crore. Approximately, Rs 50 crore can be recovered in the South itself.




When it comes to the Hindi version, the makers want to sell the satellite rights for anywhere near Rs 10 crore, using the brand image of 'Zanjeer'. Even if the film manages to collect atleast Rs 10 crore in its theatrical runs, the producers will land in the safe zone. For this, they are planning a wide release to recover that amount in the opening weekend itself. Let's wait and see, if the producers can pull it off!!!
