If anyone is approaching Nithya Menon owing to her one film success and decent looks, they are in for a humiliating experience. Scoring a hit with just one film 'Ala Modalaindhi', it is heard that Nithya has become quite head strong and now she is arriving with her new movie ‘180’.Recently, a press-meet was arranged for the promotion of the film and this displayed Nithya’s head strong nature to the fullest. Giving wayward and satirical replies to every question cheesed many media people and here are few excerpts from Nithya’s statements.
When asked why she declined the chance of working with Venkatesh, Nithya’s reply was “He is a grownup, I am a small and young girl. How will our pair look good?”
When asked about her opinion on Tollywood, the reply was “I just saw one or two films like ‘Magadheera’”.
In between, a topic of Prabhas came and it is heard that Nithya’s reply was “Prabhas??... who Prabhas?? Is there a hero like that in Telugu?”.
While it is okay to be ignorant of few things but to show that in a sarcastic way is displaying Nithya’s arrogance, say many. The final touch was when the film’s PRO asked a question and his face went red with humiliation when Nithya’s blunt statement was “You are not a journalist. Why should I answer your question?” incidentally, he also happens to be the head of cine reporters.
