The Movie Artists Association (MAA) has
decided to ban Telugu cinema actresses who do not take membership in the
association. Top Telugu movie heroines like Tamanna, Trisha, Samantha,
Nithya Menon, Genelia, Shriya Saran, Sneha, etc have been slapped with
notices from MAA directing them to take its membership. In its notice,
MAA asked these heroines to register within 15 days i.e before October
1, 2011, failing which they shall be banned from Tollywood it seems. The
association has also taken few other key decisions as part of Telugu
cinema journey to 80 years.
