HarishShankar's strange comparison fearing NTR fans?

Director Harish Shankar sure seems to know a thing or two about handling fan bases of the heroes he works with. A self proclaimed fan of Pawan Kalyan, the director made no secret of his admiration for Pawan Kalyan and never lost an opportunity to flaunt it either. Well it sure worked well for him as Gabbar Singh has struck gold at the BO.

In a recent interview he stated that though he was a fan of Pawan Kalyan he admired NTR also. "I just want to clarify the fans that my being a fan of Pawan Kalyan doesn't imply that I hate every other star. NTR is the first actor I approached with a script. He loved it but we never got around to doing it. I will work even harder than I did for Gabbar SIngh. The movie will be a cracking entertainer, I can assure you that," he said.

Director found him in a state which VV Vinayak previously experienced. He mentioned that VV directing Samba with NTR after scoring a blockbuster Tagore with Chiranjeevi. Director may have ignored the result of Samba but NTR fans are little bit worried about the comparison. "Absurd comparison..We hope Harish Shankar's movie with NTR will not be another Samba" said, Raj Kumar. a NTR fan. Let us hope this movie will be better than GabbarSingh

'Gabbar Singh' First List Theatres Out

There are five more days left for Powerful Tsunami to hit the state. Yes, we are speaking about pawan kalyans Gabbar Singh slated for release this week. As expected early, the first list of Hyderabad theatres for the movie is out in print media today. For the moment only one main theatre of Sandhya 70 MM in RTC X Roads is published while one or two more might get added in next one or two days.

Director Harish Shankar who is an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan made sure to have every element that Pawan fans would love to watch.

Harish asked for freehand from Pawan Kalyan before signing the film it seems. He asked Pawan to do whatever he asks for without rejecting anything. Pawan agreed to do so and to keep his word Pawan is simply doing everything that Harish Shankar asks for. Pawan Kalyan is against doing dances in songs. He doesn't dance in more than one song per film.

But in Gabbar Singh each and every song will have Pawan style dances. There won't be any earth shattering dance moves, but few jhalaks from Pawan in each song will make the fans go crazy. Pawan is not interested to do heavy duty fight sequences that involve rope works and all. But in Gabbar Singh action will be Power packed and very different from Pawan's earlier films. There are ample scenes that elevate heroism and the punch dialogues written by Harish are going to be the highlight. There are many comedy scenes that will remind his fans of vintage Pawan Kalyan

RACHCHA SHAPING UP AS A BIGGIE OF 2012

After Orange debacle, Ramcharan Tej is leaving no stone unturned to make his upcoming film Rachcha a blockbuster, and crores of rupees have been spent on the action and item numbers.

Producer R.B. Choudary had to shell out Rs 2 crore just for one action sequence in the film, unit members said.

As it was shot in picturesque China, the scene required loads of bamboo sticks and the high-adrenaline action shots were choreographed by a Chinese stunt master.

“It’s quite a unique action sequence and Ramcharan did a good job with his reflexes and agility, convincingly bashing up the thugs amidst the bamboo sticks,” a crew member maintained. The producer also spent another Rs 80 lakh to rope in Bollywood beauty Lisa Hayden for the racy title track.

Though director Samapath Nandi planned a lip lock scene for the hero initially, later he dropped the move to give the so-called clean image to the entertainer

Gabbar Singh' doesn't care for Sankranthi

When it comes to the festival of Sankranthi the Tollywood folks treat it with great respect and reverence. While on the work front, they release some of the promising and big budget movies, on the personal front, they ensure that they spend time with their families and stay away from work.

However, that doesn't seem to be the case with the team of the film 'Gabbar Singh'. Reports say that despite the festival holidays for almost three days, the team has reportedly decided to continue with their shooting without a break. The objective is to wrap up the schedule on time without any delays.

Buzz is that the man behind this is director Harish Shankar. Unit members reveal he is working with a strong 'Kasi' to ensure that Pawan Kalyan scores a big hit with 'Gabbar Singh'. Currently, the shooting is happening in Hyderabad and it is produced by Ganesh while Devi Sri Prasad is the music maker.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh shooting is currently being shot in Hyderabad and the action sequences in Ram-Lakshman supervision are being pictured. Pawan Kalyan, Shruti Haasan and other prominent cast are participating in the shooting.

Gabbar Singh is a mass entertainer and filmmakers inform Pawan Kalyan’s role, his attitude as a rude cop will be the USP of the movie. Though a Dabangg remake, Harish Shankar made ample changes to script to make it appeal to mass audiences especially Pawan Kalyan fans.

Gabbar Singh unit filming interval fights on Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh movie has resumed shooting in Hyderabad and the unit will be canning scenes on Pawan Kalyan, Shruti Hassan, Ali and Rao Ramesh from today. From January 12, the unit films interval fights sequences on Pawan Kalyan and other junior artistes and will wrap the action sequences part in this schedule and then proceed to shooting another scehdule in Pune from January 20 to Jan 30. Director Harish Shankar is leaving no stone to ensure that Gabbar Singh strikes the chord and Devi Sri Prasad’s music will further have the fans crooning and grooving for his tunes.
The heroine for the item song ‘Munni Badnam’ is yet to be decided and this song will be shot in the final schedule of the movie. Aakash is playing childhood role of pawan in this movie and other casting includes Suhasini, Nagineedu, Ajay, Abhimanyu singh, Brahmanandam etc. Gabbar Singh release date is schedule for April 27, 2012 and producer Bandla Ganesh Babu is trying hard to roll out things by that date.
