Endukante Pramnta Review Rating 2.6/5 (First on Net)

Banner: Sravanthi Movies
Cast: Ram, Tamanna, Suman, Raghubabu, Rishi, Shayaji Shinde, Nagineedu, Satyakrishnan, Melkote, Sumanshetty, Gemeni Vijay and others.
Director: Karunakaran
Music Director: G V Prakash Kumar
Producer: Sravanthi Ravi Kishore
Tollywoodnews.co.cc Rating : 2.6/5

Story:
In 1980, Krishna (Ram) falls for Srinidhi (Tamannah) but she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings due to family responsibilities. Krishna dies in an accident while trying to save Srinidhi. In 2012 Sravanthi(Tamannah) is the daughter of a Indian Embassy officer in Paris. She dislikes the heavy security around her due to her father’s position and wants to lead a carefree life. Ram (Ram) is a happy go lucky guy in Hyderabad who always lands himself in trouble. Vexed by this his dad (Shiyaji Shinde) tricks him into going to Paris and work there. Both Sravanthi and Krishna try to escape from Paris and come to India for their own motives. What happens next? Will they remember their past? These questions are answered in the movie.

Performance:
Ram is energetic in a role that has become his standard fare. He has a good comedy timing that he utilizes well in the movie. Tamannah is good in the variations of her character’s sketch.Shiyaji Shinde  and Suman are good as the lead pair’s parents. Anu Haasan did a full fledged role in Telugu and performs well. Richard/Rishi is good as the villian. Kona Venkat did a negative role in the movie but it didn’t gel with his personality. Bramhi did a cameo role in the movie and brings lots of laughs whenever he appears on screen.

Technical:
Cinematography by Andrews is marvelous and the beauty of Paris and Geneva are shown well on screen,  the real asset that each frame looked like a painting in the movie. Songs are colorfully and neatly shot and GV Prakash’s music though average and music is better., will attract with the picturisation. As per the content, Karunakaran experimented with a new script and it had several twists.

Analysis:
The story line of this movie is such that I cannot  write much without spilling the beans. The concept is basically a fantasy drama. There was much more that the director could have done, which could have taken the movie in a different direction. There are a lot of twists in the movie right up to the climax. There is a sense of Deja-vu in the first half; its very similar to Darling, which incidentally was directed by Karunakaran also.
The second half reminds us of Ready especially the family sequences. Some situations are outright illogical which hamper the narration. The length of the movie is too long and a couple of songs could have been omitted.  There is ample comedy in the first half and 30 minutes into the second half. Ram dances like a charm. All the loose threads in the movie are well tied up in the end.

Verdict:
Watch it for one time

Rajanna Movie Review

INTRO:
Rajanna is one of its kinds of movie, where in makers need guts to make such movie, especially in Telugu Cinema. What sort of movie you can expect from a veteran story writer turned director, who has penned stories for biggest block busters in Telugu Cinema? You expect same kind of movies, but if you go and watch Rajanna, your celluloid experience is completely new.
IN AND OUT:
Story deals with lives of people in Nizam regime after independence. It shows you how people are ill-treated by rulers, in the region of Telangana. It is a known fact, few among down trodden has revolted against King Nizam and Jameendaari System at that time and paid their lives. Rajanna (Nagarjuna) is such a person who raises his voice and fights against Deshmukhs, (who are called as Dora in those times) and pays his life. Actor Nagarjuna has to be appreciated in choosing such a role and producing the movie. Director Vijayendra Prasad has shown, How village songs are key part in lives of people in Telangana and also How a song can change weak person to a strengthen one.
Narration of the movie in the first half goes sentimental, where in life of Rajanna daughter is being shown but is beautifully shot. Second half is Rajanna episode, full of action.
OFF SCREEN:
Senior Writer Vijayendra Prasad has scored in his debutant venture and he knows how to prepare full meals. Except unconvincing climax, Story and Screen-Play are perfect. Director has used so many characters during the travel of Character Malamma through out the movie, to keep the tempo in the same pace. Music by MM Keeravani is extra-ordinary, feel good and is an asset. He too needs equal credit like director and producer of this movie. Action by Ram-Laxman is apt and climax action sequence resembles to Magadheera fight. Lyric writers also need credit, as first half narration is completely through songs. Three cinematographers worked for this movie, but no glitch found, it is fabulous.
FINAL TOUCH:
Rajanna a complete different genre movie, parts apart from regular and routine Telugu Cinema. It makes you feel good when you come out of the movie.

Oh My Friend Review

Behind the Movie OMF: Teaming of Dil Raju and Siddharth with an intention to repeat the magic of Bommarilluraised expectations on OMF. Audio from Rahul Raj topping the charts helped movie to get necessary hype before the release. Let us see, how far Dil Raju remained to his trademark?

In the Moive OMF: Chandu (Siddharth) and Siri (Shruti Hasan) are thick childhood friends. While Chandu wanted to be a member of rock band, Siri is a classical dancer. Chandus father Kishan (Tanikella) feels that his son doesnt have clarity on life unlike Siri who takes every step in life very carefully. Siri is in love with Uday (Navdeep), living in USA and they are to get engaged. Soon, Chandu too falls in love with his inter classmate Ritu (Hansika). With help of Siri, he succeeds in winning her love.

Time when everything is looking happy, all four are set on a journey to Kerala where Chandu has to attend a music competition. Things fall apart as misunderstandings creep on the friendship of Chandu and Siri disturbing the relation between Chandu-Ritu and Siri-Uday. Even parents of these two close friends misinterpret their relation as Love and Marriage as the only solution available. How did Chandu, Siri solve their problem? What kind of sacrifice did they make for the sake of society to realize on a friendship between boy and girl forms a meaningful climax..!

Values of the Movie OMF: Story conceived by Venu Sriram is less than wafer thin. His point was straight and the lock was between friendship between a boy, girl. What makes difference here is Venus stylish, innovative scripting. As a director, no where did he allow a lag or boring episodes to enter into narration. Tunes composed by Rahul Raj breezed new life and Mani Sharmas background is very sensible. Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is top notch that brought enormous richness presented on screen. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is alright. Production values of Dil Raju are the best.

Performance wise, Siddharth was rocking through out. This is definitely his best performance after Bommarillu.Surprisingly Shruti has improved a lot in her histrionics as her Telangana dialect gave required punch to characterization. Hansika looked gorgeous sharing smart kisses from Sid but was definitely out of shape. Navdeep is perfect as a disturbed lover stuck in confused net of Friendship Vs Love. He played major role in climax scenes. Here is an answer on why Tanikella Bharani is called a best actor. Alis comedy in Kerala episodes was hilarious to some extent.

Out of the Movie OMF: When director has this kind of a single line rounded subject, obviously it is recommend for running of sub plots that would help the main plot narration get better and interesting. Venus thought was differently focused only on the four lead characters along with wonderfully worked out father-son family connection which is again linked to friendship. True that movie drops in pace occasionally but Venus research on scripting and Dil Rajus trademark touching scenes lifted emotions immediately. Venu has shown clarity and control on subject which was more felt in closing scenes.

Can a boy and girl be friends forever? Can society accept this kind of relation? What is the difference between Love and Friendship? These elements are always popular selling points for a movie. Youth would attract to such storylines with in no time. OMF is to easily cash on this sentiment as Venu delivered a decent product. As projection of same on the screen being absolutely stylish, it would be doubtful on how B & C centre audiences would embrace the flick. Nevertheless multiplex and urban viewers are to be certainly impressed. So, Box Office wise there is every chance of OMF having a good life.

desiTwits Verdict of the Movie OMF: Youthfully Refreshing and a Feel Good Experience

Pilla Zamindar Movie Review

Pilla Zamindar Movie Review (1st On Net)
Behind the Movie Pilla Zamindar: Young Nani has become a safe hero for makers. His project selection will be tested once again with a new team in hand for this flick. Hari Priya and Bindu Madhavi looking after the glamour quotient, let us see what is this Pilla Zamindar all about?
In the Movie Pilla Zamindar: An egoistic, spoiled brat belonging to Krishna Giri Samsthanam is Praveen Jayaramaraju called as Pilla Jamindar or PJ (Nani). As per a legal testament written by his grand father Late Rudraramaraju (Nagineedu), their property of worth Rs.5000 Crore will be transferred to PJ, if he fulfills a set of conditions laid down in the will.
First is, PJ should complete his Bachelor Degree in a prescribed period of 3 years without failing any subject in any year by studying only in Mallamma College, residing in the College Hostel run by their grandpas trust in the village of Siripuram. Second is, PJ should win the College Elections, at least once during his stay at College and Principal Rajanna (Rao Ramesh) is given the responsibility to fail PJ on any grounds, if unsatisfied.
A reluctant PJ lands in Siripuram and joins the College. This is the place where money minded PJ learns about life, humanity, friendship, love, affection, politics, charity and many more things redeeming himself into a Perfect Human Being. How PJ is helped by ex-girl friend Sindhu (Hari Priya), a close friend (Avasarala Srinivas) and Telugu lecturer (MS) forms the rest. Did PJ win his ancestral property? What happened to Sindhu? What was objective behind the will written by PJs grandpa has to be seen on screen.
Values of the Movie Pilla Zamindar: Director Ashok G seems to have done quite a bit of research on story to assimilate those kinds of sub plots and emotions to make his film a perfect pack. Screenplay looked feeble in few occasions yet he touched the hearts of audience many a times. Direction wise, Ashok G has more Common Sense, what lacks in present day directors. Dialogues by Chandra Sekhar stood highlighted in entire movie offering entertainment with a teaching on human morals. Music by Selva Ganesh was a better work in background score. Cinematography by Sai Sriram is very nice while editing by Praveen Pudi lagged in continuity. Production values of Bujji Babu were mediocre.
Performance wise Nani lived in the role of PJ. His histrionics, body language, comedy timing are equally as brilliant as his sentimental and emotional talent. Nani has well shouldered the transformation of his character from first to second half. Hari Priya is cute and is a natural beauty. Bindu Madhavis role has no meat. Bapineedu is regular. Rao Ramesh, MS Narayana, Sameer, Avasarala srinivas have stolen the show in second half bringing completeness to Nanis character. Comedy by Thaagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj and others in college plus cameo by Vennela Kishore and Nalla Venu in pre-climax are thoroughly entertaining.
Out of the Movie Pilla Zamindar: Director has shown a clear distinction between comedy and emotion mixed sentimental drama. While first half is meant for many comedy episodes ending in just one hour, second half is made lengthy with too many heart moving sub plots. A flavor of Malayalam and Tamil cinema is clearly felt in treatment but Ashok came out colorful in achieving his goal of tying the audience to seats.
Definitely Munnabhai and 3 Idiots served as strong inspirations behind Ashok for penning the second half. Confidence levels in Pilla Zamindar team are evidential in closing shots. Movie is elongated towards climax with unconvincing pre-climax episodes. Best and bad quality in director Ashok G is, he had too much of a thinking brain for which two and half hours of run time isnt enough.
Well, after watching the commercial blockbusters like Dookudu and Oosaravelli, if this Pilla Zanidnar is given the ample publicity (of course, mouth publicity is to come positive); movie has all the ingredients to become a slow winner.

Keratam Telugu Movie Review

Movie :: Keratam

Tollydownload Rating:: 1.8 out 5

Story:
Siddhu (Siddharth Rajkumar) has four friends and all of them study together in a school. There are three girls, who join their gang. Siddhu’s father (Bheemanani Srinivasa Rao) is an honest government employee. All these friends complete their plus two and join the college. As they grew up, Siddhu develops love towards Gita. Once a senior student called Robo teases Gitta and Siddhu challenges him and wins over him in bike race. Later, Robo tries to molest another girl in the lab, and Siddhu and his friends bash him. Accidentally, Robo picks a live cable and suffers electric shock. Then, the police start search for the boys. Siddhu and his gang takes shelter with their principal, who pleads with the police not to book a case against him as it would spoil their career. In the police station, the friends confess that Siddhu is in love with Gita and that is the reason why they tried to bash Robo. Later, all the friends warn Siddhu to forget his love and concentrate on career, but Siddhu ignores it. They desert him and Gita too listens to her parents and decides to concentrate on studies and turns a doctor. At this juncture, Siddhu’s father retires and agrees to shed the money as bribe to get a government job to Siddhu. However, Siddhu fails to turn up to the interview and loses the job. What happens next should be seen on-screen.
Performance:
None of the artistes could deliver a good performance as most of them are novices. In fact, one has to blame the director of the film for failing to extract the talents from the artistes. The director has also failed to give good characterisation to any of the artistes. The entire film is very confusing and the audiences had to grope in dark to understand, what the director wants to explain. Though looking pretty, Aishwarya and Rakul Preet Singh have not got any chance to perform.
Technical:
It is better to talk as less about the technical values in the film. Cinematography by A Venkatesh is good in parts and the draw back in the cinematography is the inconsistency in lighting. Editing by Suresh Urs is also not up to the mark as the joining of scenes are abrupt. Music by Joshua Sridhar is totally poor and the re-recording has also failed to elevate any of the scenes. The director of the film Gautham Patnaik should first learn the basic of preparing the script and screenplay. He must make his mind clear and visualise certain scenes before taking the shot. The storyline taken by the director is excellent. He wants to explain, how the youth are spoiling their career in the name of love, which is common among the teenagers. But when it comes to the presentation of the script on the celluloid, he has made several mistakes. He could neither highlight the story nor the hero through his characterisation.
Remarks:
When you go to a beach, you sit on the banks and enjoy the tidal waves of the sea from the shore. If you go near the sea, the waves will drench you with salty water. Don’t waste your money and time by going to the theatre.

Budda Hoga Tera Baap - Amitabh Bachchan(2011) Movie Review

Tollydownload Rating 4.7 out of 5

This movie gets appraises from all categories people. Amitabh once again rocks with his acting. Debut director Puri Jagannadh really do very well.
Amitabh is an old angry man
This film completely romantic-comedy film
Vijju (Amitabh Bachchan) a retured criminal is called to Mumbai from Paris for a secret mission at a time when the underworld is at its peak in the city. Assitant Commissioner of police Karan (Sonu Sood) promises to clean up the city in tow months. Then enters Sonal Chauhan (Tanya) who accidently meets Karan in a Police Station. Amrita (Charmme Kaur), Tanya’s best friend wants to fall in love till she sees her mother (Raveen Tandon) going head over heels for Vijju. What follows next is punches, kicks, love, blasts, blows and bullets, then again love. Now I really dont want to spill the beans on how the film opens and what the story is. You need to watch it to believe what a man at the age of 69 can do.

Every action hero fan would somewhere deep down question – ‘Oh I wish I could see Mr Bachchan kick some butt today’. Well Buddha Hoga Terra Baap is your answer. It is everything a fan of old school 80′s action films would want and a kind of love letter to the movies that he used to be a part of. Its tongue, firmly in its cheek and includes all the cliches that we love in those old movies of Bachchans. Its a straighforward action flick with a simple but well executed plot, stunning fight scenes, giant explosions and some killer dialogues from his past movies and some new ones that are penned intensely by Rishi Virmani and Vipul Binjola.
Director Puri Jagannadh had his finger on the pulse of his fan base when he wrote this film. Think about the last Bachchan action flick. He knew to keep it simple and mindless with a heavy dose of exploding bodies infused with his trademark humour. Puri got us everything – snappy one liners, a funky Harley Davidson, a cute girl who can pull of humour, enough baddies to keep you entertained and indispensable violence along with longing love.
I felt like a teenager again appreciating the view of the thing that goes Boom – Bachchan guaranteeing you your Ohhhhs and Uuuuhhhhhhs and Aahhhhhs along with some mad whiltling.
Mr Bachchan’s action scenes are the most satisfying experience since cheese burgers after a very bight night. The film is designed truly for this great actor. As kids, my friends and I periodically engaged in debates about which of our favourite action stars was the mightiest? Could Batman beat Superman? Who would prevail in a battle between Huld and He-man? The possible permutations were enless, but the winner was always Amitabh Bachchan. Admit it, this grizzled geezer looks Ready to rampage.
And if all the action and mayhem and humour wasn’t enough. Buddha has the best in music too, thanks to Visha and Shekhar the music directors. I won’t be surprised if the ‘once more’ echo’s in the theater after the ‘Bachchan medley’ gets over
At its core, Buddha Hoga Tera Baap remains a personal film for Puri Jagannadh and I respect it, and we all should. Its a film not made by a director but by Amitabh Bachchans biggest fan. Puri made I as an audience and that’s what makes Buddha special.

Plus
Buddha Hoga Tera Baap is a funny action caper that makes no pretense. Your favorite action star of yesterday and today killing loads of bad guys with gusto and humour. This is a testosterone fueled kick for the true fans, the purists, the connoisseurs who expect to see the legend of action back in the ring. Amitabh Bachchan, tribute is just an understatement. We salute you!
Characters
the characters are clearly defined and each have their moment in the sun. Raveena Tandon looked surreal. She is smokin hot even today. She played her part well. Sonu Sood was honest and right there. He didn’t go over the top nor underplayed his part. Makarand Deshpande was at his best playing the mystified fan of Vijju. Sonal Chauhan looked beautiful and acted her part with ease. Hema Malini was decent. But the discovery of the film was Charmme Kaur, who with her flamboyant acting prowess stole our hearts. She is the find of the season. Kudos to her!
