'SVSC'- Venky's Blunder?

Ever since Victory venkatesh has accepted to do a multi starrer in the combo of  Prince Mahesh Babu for the movie 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', some of his supporters are said to have annoyed with his decision to act a multi starrer. According to them, venkatesh's image would not get any damage if he does muilti starrer with a senior hero like Kamal Haasan, as he did the movie 'Eenadu' with him. However, if he acts with a junior hero, who has super stardom among the public, obviously, more importance is given to that superstar hero and that is happening now. Though, the makers have taken proper care to balance the characters of both the heroes in the movie, media may highlight Mahesh Babu's news rather venkatesh's.  On the other hand, some more fans of venkatesh are saying that the above argument is completely wrong and venkatesh's image might not get any damage and instead, he surely steals the show at the end of the day, surpassing Mahesh's show. Whose argument is right? What do you say folks?

SVSC Teaser Talk: A Blockbuster In The Making!

The teaser of the much-awaited film, 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', is finally out and the note worthy point is that it lived up to the expectations. Initial reactions from the fans and film goers is very positive.

Ever since the project was announced, all eyes were on Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu. How these two top stars will be shown in the film? Will they get the same amount of screen time? Can it satisfy the fans? For all these questions, the teaser of SVSC is the best answer. The bonding shared by both these stars was presented beautifully onscreen. 

Coming to the leading ladies, Samantha looked bubbly as usual. Anjali ('Journey' fame), who was paired opposite Venky, stealed the show. SVSC is a lifetime opportunity for this gorgeous beauty and she is making the most out of it.

The makers have taken care in projecting this film as a wholesome family entertainer. Teaser satisfied the fans of both the stars and also justified the tag line 'Simple & Beautiful'. Producer Dil Raju and Director Srikanth Addala ('Kotha bangaru Lokam' fame) should be commended for their efforts to make a genuine multi-starrer. Sunil Replaces Venkatesh

Hero sunil is currently riding high on the success of his 'Poola Rangadu'. Suresh Productions is said to have approached to make a movie with him. Udaya Shankar, who earlier directed  'Kalisundam Raa',  will be directing this movie. In fact, Udaya Shankar has prepared the script for Venkatesh. However, Venkatesh is heard to have rejected to do this movie, as the script is filled with full of comedy. Having noticed sunil is a perfect fit for this project, the producers are reportedly approached sunil and sunil is said to have given his nod to do this movie. Right now, sunil is working for bollywood remake movie, 'Tanu Weds Manu', which is tentatively titled as 'Seetha Weds Ramudu'. Isha Chawla will be seen opposite to him for this movie.

Venky takes Mahesh by a Shock

As expected earlier, Businessman of mahesh babu has got a strong battering from Venkateshs Bodyguard released with in a difference of one day. Obviously mahesh babu being in his peak form got a tremendous or call it mind boggling opening collections on first day of Businessman which is approximated to Rs.18.5 Crores. The very next day (that is on second day), collections are heard to have dropped by nearly 60% to settle some where around Rs.5 to 6 Crores with Nizam topping the chart with Rs.1.5 Crores. 

Reason being Venkateshs Bodyguard hailed as a true family packed entertainer pulled majority of public. One has to wait and see, whether there are any chances of Businessman coping up or continues to show the down trend. On the other side, Venky has hit his target audience to guard the commercial BO for coming weeks

Is this an entertainer or a tearjerker ?
A perfect blend of entertainment which dominates the first half and sentiment which takes the centre stage in the second half. Sentiment is the mainstay in the film.

Venkatesh is at his elemental best as Bodyguard Venkatadri. Comic scenes in the first half are a cakewalk for a seasoned actor like Venkatesh. Sentiment scenes are performed with equal ease by him. Trisha gets a meaty role and she does complete justice to the character. Saloni performs well within her limits. Prakash Raj gets to do what he does in every other film these days. Other actors like Ali, Subba Raju, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayaprakash Reddy and MS Narayana are adequate.

What about the all important story and dialogues ?
Lets not waste time talking about the story which is no secret to anybody who follows Indian film industry as this has already been made in 3 different languages. Dialogues are adequate and at times extremely funny in comedy scenes. Sentiment dialogues could have been a bit better but there is nothing much to complain about.

What about the music ?
Songs are a definite plus for the film and S.S.Thaman scores well in BGM department. He has done a wonderful job in elevating the mood of the film be it in romantic scenes or action scenes.

Other technical departments and production values ?
Editing and cinematography are adequate. Songs are canned in picturesque locations and production values for the remainder of the film are top notch.

Gopichand Malineni…How did he handle the remake ?
Gopichand by and large did stick to the original version of the film and made a faithful remake of the Malayalam version of the movie. He succeeded in making a entertaining first half and a riveting second half.

Dookudu Sentiment Works Out For Bodyguard ?

‘Nee Dookudu’, the title song of ‘Dookudu’, has been filmed very well and it has been a big hit too. Hot and sexy Meenakshi Dixit danced for that song. Now, this Dookudu girl seems to have impressed ‘Bodyguard’ makers as they reportedly made an item number with her and they are hoping for the same sentiment to repeat again to make ‘Bodyguard’ a blockbuster hit like ‘Dookudu’. We have to wait till 12th Janauary to see whether Meenakshi Dixit becomes a sentiment girl or ends up as a one film wonder.

Venky to romance Naga Chaitanya's Lover!!

The makers of 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' are having a tough time finding an Actress to play the role of Mahesh Babu's Sister-in-law.
Usually, Actresses doesn't want to miss an opportunity to share screen space with Mahesh Babu. Although several heroines were approached by producer Dil Raju and director Srikanth Addala for their film, all of them have backed out citing various reasons. One reason behind their rejection is, none of them want to play Mahesh's vadina, as this move might ruin their chances to romance the Superstar on the screen in future.

Nayanatara, Bhumika, Anushka are the actresses who refused to reprise the role of Mahesh Babu's sister-in-law in this multi-sarrer film. The reports say, Dil Raju even approached Madhuri Dixit for the role, but she refused the offer.
According to the reliable sources, Dil Raju has finally zeroed in on Amala Paul, who played Naga Chaitanyaâ s love interest in 'Bezawada'. If everything goes well, Amala Paul would be playing Venky's wife in the film. But the question is, How convinsingly they could portray the roles of husband and wife? (age gap between the duo). Let's hope for the best!

The Tollywood audience has been starving since long to see a multi-starrer in Telugu. While director Krish gave an appetizer with his film ‘Vedam’, maybe it is time for the real one. We are talking about the film ‘Seetamma Vaaikitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and here are few details.This has the likes of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu teaming up with each other. News is that the film is gearing up to take off in the month of October and the regular shooting will commence. This is being directed by Srikanth Addala who scored a hit with his movie ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’. For now, Venky is busy with his movie ‘Ganga- The Bodyguard’ while Mahesh is preparing to arrive with his ‘Dookudu’. Once both stars are free from their commitments, this project is expected to take off. The cine folks say this is a killer cast and are hoping that the project gets completed smoothly without any hiccups

One of the biggest multi-starrer flicks of Tollywood in the current period Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) with Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu in the leads will move onto the floors by the end of 2011.

Srikanth Addala will wield the megaphone for this big budget film while Dil Raju will produce the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Venkatesh informs that the project has been confirmed and he is happy to share the screen space with Mahesh . The announcement of this project is expected shortly.

Meanwhile Venky is currently busy with the film Ganga- The Bodyguard which is slated for Dussera release while Mahesh Babu is wrapping up his Dookudu that is likely to release in the end of August.

Venkatesh is good at comedy. His performances in films like Nuvvu Naaku Nachchavu, Mallishwari, and Namo Venkatesha have become standard reference for other actors to follow. Although he does all kinds of movies, but audiences love to see him in entertainers. So Venky is now planning to remake Bollywood super hit, Golmaal 3 that collected more than Rs 100 Crores at Box-office.

Buzz is that Srinu Vytla is going to direct this flick and Srikanth will play the other important role. Currently, Venky is working for remake of Body Guard, which again is laced with comedy.
