Will Arrival of 'Daruvu' Takes 'Gabbar Singh' To Rs 73 Cr?

The success run of the film ‘Gabbar Singh’ still continues and at one point, many thought that the brakes would be applied with the arrival of the film ‘Daruvu’. However, the Ravi Teja starrer has tanked big time at the box office and ‘Gabbar Singh’ collections still continue to be strong.

This has given rise to a new thought. Can ‘Gabbar Singh’ touch Rs 73 crores share? So far, it is ‘Magadheera’ which has been standing first with Rs 72 crores share. And despite reaching the third week, there are still housefuls happening across many theatres which is raising the hopes of the market analysts.

On the other hand, the estimation is that the film will reach anywhere between Rs 60 cr to Rs 70 cr but getting past ‘Magadheera’ might be difficult. That way, ‘Dookudu’ will have to step aside and give its position to Gabbar. For now, the bombing of ‘Daruvu’ has surely boosted the collections of ‘Gabbar Singh’.

Trade pundits felt Daruvu would stop Pawan Kalyan’s  Gabbar Singh’s tsunami at box office as both the films were targeted to same audience. With first day’s public talk and reviews it is no match for Gabbar Singh monopoly. According to latest reports Gabbar Singh managed to hold housefuls in all multiplexes and single screens for 1st & 2nd shows yesterday.

So this means that the Daruvu will not be able to stop Gabbar Singh. Let us see if the next week releases will be able to stop Gabbar Singh.

Daruvu Escapes From Gabbar Singh

Ravi Teja's upcoming film Daruvu was supposed to release on this weekend, i.e, 18th May, but looking at the kind of collections Gabbar Singh is getting, Daruvu has been postponed for a week. The makers of Daruvu were earlier planning to release the film even if Gabbar Singh gets average talk. But later they realized that releasing Daruvu at this moment is going to cause a great damage to their film and they are releasing it now on 25th May.

On the other hand, Raja Mouli's Eega is releasing on May 30th and Ram's Endukante Premanta is releasing on June 1st, making things difficult for Daruvu.
