What could be the situation, if the treatment given to ‘Srimannarayana’ is repeated for any other star heroes films coming in near future. One should obviously agree that, there will always be shortage of theatres during the festive or holiday seasons with a bunch of big films booking their own required number of screens. When a big hero like balakrishna finds no value in the market with theatres in Andhra Pradesh under the hold of very few men, what is the guarantee that same will not be repeated for any other big hero?
A solution for this kind of severe issues will be found only when these leased theatres in the hands of few distributors will go back to Exhibitors. While big heads like Dasari, Tammareddy and others are working towards such permanent solution, Fans of Big Heroes should maintain cool headedness.

Balayya Not a Small Hero
![]() |
Natasimham Nandamuri balakrishna's 'Srimannarayana' movie ran for just one week in Arjun theater of Kukatpalli and was replaced by King Nagarjuna's devotional flick 'Shirdi Sai'. Leaving a big shock to everyone, the producer and the director of the movie staged a dharna in front of the theater protesting not to lift their movie from the theater. Balayya's fans also joined this agitation. The producer of this movie stated that their is a small budget movie and it has to get justice. Later, the producer also met the supporter of small budget films, Tammareddy Bharadwaj.
Having heard of this news on SMN, some of the senior fans of Balayya are criticizing the makers of the movie. As per them, the makers have rights to go for any kind of agitation for the screening of their movie, but they shouldn't have mentioned theirs is a small budget film, as it senses that Balayya is a small hero but not a star hero. Hope, the makers understand their feelings.

Teaser Talk: Balayya Is Back For Mass

As expected, the teaser of our Nandamuri hero's latest movie is here to showcase its punch. Film Nagar is already spellbound by its mass-power and here goes the talk.
Balayya is all set to rock Tollywood as a powerful journalist in his latest movie 'Srimannarayana'. Produced by Ramesh Puppala and directed by Ravi Chawla, the film is expected to his screens in August. Here comes a sample of his dialogue treat to make fans go merry.
'Kadapa seven road centre okay na.. Ananthapur sapthagiri circle, Kurnool Konda Reddy buruju…Vijayawada Benz circle... Karimnagar Kashmir Katta...', and the dialogue continues likes this.
Though the dialogue reminds his earlier movies like 'Narasimhanaidu' and 'Chenna Kesava Reddy', director Ravi Chawali made clear that it sounds fresh. Insiders revealed that Balayya is giving what his fans are truly expecting from him, a powerful film with all mass-commercial elements.
Time for Balayya to Roar

Nandamuri Balakrishna, the hero who is continuously failing to stand up to the expectations of audience and Fans has a big opportunity on hand in the form of ‘srimannarayana.’ Although characterization of Balayya in ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ partially prospered on the screen pleasing some of his Fans but they desire more for a film of ‘Simha’ standards. With Ravi Chavali finding his life time lucky chance of directing Nata Simham, obviously ‘srimannarayana’ will be his life and death project.
On the other hand glamour dolls Parvathy Melton and Isha Chawla ready to offer anything to climb up the ladder and achieve the star heroine status, producer Ramesh Puppala is exhibiting enormous confidence on the outcome. Audio of ‘srimannarayana’ will be unveiled tomorrow and movie will set the theatres on fire in August last week.

What is Their Fate without Balayya?
![]() |
The verdict is clear. Audiences are enjoying the characterization of balakrishna in ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ while the major drawback is agreed to be the dull first half. In particular, first half an hour to forty minutes is treated as a non-stop torture where Manoj has gone over board showing his creative enthusiasm. For the moment, inner sources say collections are not that disappointing because except ‘Eega’ there is no big competitor in market.
A better first half could have taken ‘UKUP’ to further high range of success. However, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna also did her part efficiently leaving the audience spell bound in climax episode. For a perfect picture on whether ‘UKUP’ will land into safe commercial zone or end in deficits for Manchu family will be known only when new movies will hit screens this Thursday and Friday.

UKUP's Shocking Songs
![]() |
Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj starrer 'uu kodathara ulikki padathara' was released on 27th July and received mixed responses from the audiences. Most of the audiences are said to have shocked with the picturization of two songs in the movie and the details of those songs are as follows.
PRATHEE KSHANAM NARAKAME: This was the first song of the movie. This song comes when Manoj wants to disclose his background to scare some of the comedians in the movie. Many violent scenes, bloodshed and horrible shots were canned in this song. 'Children will definitely, fear of watching this song', say the audiences.
ABBABBA ABBABBA: If the above song was filled with full of violence, this song was shot in an erotic way. As many as six girls dance with him along with Deeksha Seth. Manoj appears in a tribal get up in this song and though they look natural, his gestures seemed to be awkward in this song

Balayya - Pawan - Nayantara - Tamanna

One might wonder how these four names are linked up as a heading. Yes, there is something common between these four persons now, other than the fact that they are star heroes and star heroines of Tollywood.
Nandamuri hero Balayya, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, milky beauty Tamanna and ravishing seductress Nayantara are all playing a character related to media in their upcoming films.
We all know that Pawan and Tamanna are playing the roles related to TV channel in their upcoming 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. While Tamanna is a reporter, Pawan is said to be a secret reporter. Likewise, Balayya is also playing the role of journalist in his upcoming 'Srimannarayana'. After return to acting from a long break, Nayan is doing the role of documentary film maker in Krish's 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. Indirectly, her role is also a part of media.
All the time Puri Jagan is known for portraying media in a negative tone and this time he is sketching them as heroes. Balayya's film and Nayan's role are anyways media centric. Let us see how this filmy people will excel in the role of media-folks in the coming days
Manchu Lakshmi takes up '30 crores' Challenge

Manchu family is eagerly waiting for this Friday to rise as their ambitious project Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara is releasing on that day. This is the biggest film ever made from Mohanbabu's banner. As per the producer, Manchu Lakshmi, the budget of UKUP is Rs 23,86,24,000. This doesn't include the prints and publicity cost. Also the interest for the finances is not added. The given amount is the cost of production of UKUP which includes post production expenses and remunerations.
This film was planned as a medium budget venture at the start. But with Balakrishna's inclusion they got the courage to double the estimated budget and are expecting to earn good profits from it. UKUP will have to make at least Rs. 30 crores to breakeven, which means it should score the biggest hit in entire history of 'Manchu' movies.
Lakshmi Manchu is confident that audiences would lap this film up as it falls in the league of Chandramukhi and Arundathi. They believe that Balakrishna could make the difference and make it a huge hit. As per the unit members, Balakrishna's role in this film would be like Rajanikanth's in Pedarayudu. His screen time is around 20 minutes and the impact of his character would be there throughout the second half.
Can Balayya win Magical Openings?
![]() |
As per the ruling formula of Tollywood, whatever the collections recorded in opening first week will decide the ultimate result of a film. Applying the same logic, the high budgeted ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ will have to rely more on the image of balakrishna rather than Manchu Manoj or Deeksha Seth or Manchu Lakshmi. A simple analysis on market stamina of Manoj compared to the budget invested on this flick, surely there will be a big imbalance which has to be corrected and collected only in the name of Balayya.
However, there is also a different version from trade sources. ‘In fact, Balayya’s potential as a magical opener has gone for a severe beating when ‘Parama Veera Chakra, Adhinayakudu’ did not even record 75% of house full collections on first day. ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ picked up only after positive mouth talk in overseas and domestic market. Going by these calculations, makers of ‘UKUP’ should peg up the promotion else face the humiliation later on,’ said an analyst.

Manchu Lakshmi Gives Relief To Puri Camp

Finally, there is good news for this top director who has forgotten the fact that his product is pending for a release. The news is from Manchu Lakshmi who is all ready to send jitters down the spines of Tollywood with her latest flick.
Due to the non-availability of theatres and 'Eega' effect on audiences, many films have postponed their releases. Among them 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu', 'Julayi' and 'Uh Kodathara Ulikki Padathara' are the biggies. However, UKUP and DCM have decided to come on Aug 2nd and 3rd respectively. To give some breather to Puri Jagan, Manchu Lakshmi has now shifted the release date. Surprisingly she has advanced the release date by a week and the movie is going to hit the marquee on 27th July.
Though DCM is Puri Jagan's venture, Raviteja's poor form and Raghu Kunche's average music haven't created much hype for this flick. On the other hand, Balayya's special role and Manoj's dangerous looks have raised expectations on UKUP. The gap in released dates is nothing but a big relief to Puri camp!
Balayya Threatens Bunny

It is a known news that Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Julayi' is releasing on 9th August. As of now, the makers of 'Julayi' might have thought their movie would not have big competition to fight with. However, all of a sudden, natasimham nandamuri balakrishna and Manchu Manoj starrer 'Oo Kodathara Vulikki Padathaara..' movie's release date has been announced as 2nd August. Balakrishna is heard to have played the role of a ghost in this movie. So, he definitely threatens somebody in the movie as per the story. Co-incidentally, through his UKUP he is going to threaten Allu Arjun as well, as hardly there is a gap of just one week between the releases of two movies. Deeksha Seth, Panchi Bora, Sonu Sood are the other lead cast of this movie. Bobo Sashi is scoring the music of this film. Sekhar Raja is the director. The producer of this film Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna says the movie is releasing on 2nd August on account of Rakhi Poornima. The movie was made under the banner Manchu Entertainments. |
Another fight between Balakrishna and Raviteja

Balakrishna and Raviteja have locked horns many times in the recent past and Raviteja has the upper hand till now in this battle. Somehow their films have a knack of releasing together even if they were planned for releasing in separate weeks. Once again Balakrishna and Raviteja are clashing at the Box office and this time the fight gets interesting.
Balakrishna did the key role in Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padatara, which is releasing on August 2. This film has created very big buzz among the business circles that it was sold much prior to the release date. Raviteja's August 3rd release Devudu Chesina Manushulu has massy outlook and it was directed by popular director Puri Jagannadh.
Both these films target the same section of audience and it would be interesting to see who will be the winner in this clash. Two big films releasing on alternate days has become a rarity these days. That has happened only once in the recent times. Businessman and Bodyguard released with a gap of one day between them and the former walked away with laurels. Let's see who will this contest between the frequent fighters.

Parvathi Gained Weight on NBK's Demand?

It has been quite a while since the red wine beauty Parvathi Melton has been seen onscreen. Barring the item song in 'Dookudu', Parvathi was not around. But now she is back and that too with a bang it appears. This is through the film 'Srimannarayana'.
Now, what is catching the attention of many is the new look of Parvathi. She has put on few pounds and inside talk is that she has done that on the behest of Nandamuri Balakrishna, the hero of the film. As such, the cine folks say Balayya likes his heroines to be voluptuous.
Given Parvathi's tall frame, she would be a vision of beauty if she has few extra pounds. Ironically, Parvathi is one of those rare beauties who never got her due despite having the right sex appeal and natural beauty. With the new look of 'Srimannarayana' it remains to be seen if she can prove her mettle or not. Let us hope she does.
Balayya Is Responsible For TDP's Defeat

Telugudesam party has not put any promising and respectful show in the recent by-polls. One of the factors for their defeat in Anantapur constituency is none other than Nandamuri hero Balayya.
Balakrishna has fought well within the party to get a ticket for his friend Mahalakshmi Srinivas for Anantapur constituency. However, the Jagan wave has wiped this guy off from a win after he has fallen behind with 25K votes nearly. They say that, at least if Balayya had stepped in for campaigning, Srinivas would have given a tough fight to YSRC contestant.
Telugudesam seniors are saying that Balayya should take care of both party and the person whom he recommended strongly for a ticket. Maybe Balayya's presence would have made a difference, if his baava Chandrababu had given him a chance to campaign. Being the star-face of the party, Balakrishna should not miss a single chance from now to drive TDP to victory in this crisis situation.
Reason behind Balayya's Absence at Mega Wedding

The marriage of mega powerstar Ram Charan happened in a grand style and the couple was blessed by some of the biggest known names in the country. While all that is fine, one name was quite obvious with his absence. He is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna.
From the Nandamuri side, the presence of young tiger Junior NTR was seen as a welcome gesture but Balayya's absence raised many eyebrows. Some also recalled the verbal war between Chiranjeevi and Balayya at one point of time. However, here is the main reason why Balayya could not make it.
It is heard that Balayya was absent because he was at Switzerland shooting for his film 'Srimannarayana'. Due to the hectic schedules planned, he could not take a day or two off and be at the wedding. However, sources say Balayya has already conveyed his wishes and he would be meeting the couple once he returns to India.
Robbery in Balakrishna's house

In a shocking move, a house-breaking and robbery case has been registered by the family of Balakrishna in the Banjara Hills police station.
As per the complaint, around 420 grams worth gold ornaments were robbed from the residence of Balayya, which would cost nearly Rs. 15 lakhs. This incident took place on May 24 when Balayya was out of town for the outdoor shoot of his upcoming film 'Srimannarayana', while his wife Vasundhara left to a summer vacation with family members. The keys to the house were handed over to their relative, Prasad Babu, for supervising the renovation work that's been going on at that time.
Balayya's family came to know about the robbery only after Vasundara's (Balayya's wife) return from vacation. She discovered that some of her gold ornaments in the bedroom locker went missing. Police have swung into action immediately, took the finger prints and also recorded the statements of the servants.
This robbery came as big shock for everyone because there is always a tight security round the clock in Balayya's house. When a thing like robbery could happen in the house of a star like Balakrishna, how safe are we in this state
Adhinayakudu 2012 Telugu Film Review
Adhinayakudu Review – Adhinayakudu Movie Review, Rating, Adhinayakudu Telugu Film Review: Balakrishna’s latest film Adhinayakudu is finally out in theaters. Balakrishna has done triple roles in this film as son, father and grandfather. Let’s see how the movie fared…
Story:
Rama Krishna Prasad (Balakrishna) is a powerful leader in Rayalaseema. Politicians and police plan to kill him to get grip over seema politics. They try to hire a professional killer Kittu (Balakrishna) for the job. But he comes to know that Rama Krishna is his father and goes to protect him. Rama Krishna is the son of Harischandra Prasad (Balakrishna), who was a legend in Seema politics. Kittu who was unaware of his family kills Harischandra Prasad and Rama Krishna disowns him. What follows next is a family drama mixed with political touch.

Banner: Sree Keerthi Creations
Cast: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Lakshmi Rai, Saloni
Music: Kalyani Malik
Director: Parachuri Murali
Producer: ML Padma Kumar Chowdhary
Movie Rating: 2.0/5
Analysis:
Adhinayakudu has a decent storyline, but the screenplay is dead weak. The director doesn’t have any clue about where to start and where to end it. First half starts on an ordinary note and moves ahead with unnecessary scenes in the name of mass entertainment. Opening scene on Brahmanandam is funny but they have dragged it too much.
So much time is wasted on Lakshmi Rai trying to find the bullet mark on Balakrishna’s bottom! Those scenes are a total waste of time. Only lively scene in entire first half is the intro scene of Rama Krishna Prasad character. His punch dialogues directed at few politicians will be liked by the fans.
Despite starting off well, second half falters with some badly conceived family scenes. Much hyped ‘old getup’ of Balakrishna doesn’t have much to do. However, this is the best in terms of looks. Father character has few powerful scenes and that should be the saving grace. On a whole, Adhinayakudu lacks the spine and spice to be a powerful mass entertainer. Except for few dialogues nothing stands out.
Performances:
Balakrishna has done decent job in all the three characters. His stylist got only one getup right. Other than the old getup, rest of the two characters irks you with bad makeup. The costumes designed for younger version of Balakrishna were too bad.
Lakshmi Rai was just Okay. Saloni was confined to one scene and song. Jayasudha was good. Pradeep Rawat was usual. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Murali Sharma were shown as mere puppets. Brahmanandam did his best to provide laughs with a weird comedy track. There were too many noted actors in insignificant roles.
Technicalities:
Kalyani Malik’s music was below average. Andam Aakumadi and title song were good. Background score was not up to the mark. Editing was too bad. There was no link between many scenes. Cinematography was average. Color grading and CGI was tad ordinary. Production values were fine.
Dialogues written by Paruchuri Murali were good in few scenes. Murali failed as a writer with weak screenplay and poorly conceived scenes. As a director he did an okay job in few scenes. He should have written better screenplay and could have made better use of the three characters. He didn’t care about the logic and took too many cinematic liberties.
Final Word:
Adhinayakudu may appeal to Balakrishna fans as he was seen in three different getups. There were few dialogues that were written keeping them in mind. So fans would pass off this as a decent film. But the film has nothing to offer for other sections of audience

Soft Satires by ‘AdhiNayakudu’

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Adhinayakudu’ was released on 1st June across the globe. Balakrishna could succeed playing three different roles in this movie. Before the release of this movie, many gossips have been heard that Balayya targeted politicians as well as other star heroes in this movie and mainly he targeted a politician and Chiranjeevi. Also, some of the dialogues were leaked by different websites stating that those dialogues were uttered by Balayya for the movie ‘Adhinayakudu’. Some of those dialogues appeared very harsh. However, no such dialogues were seen in the movie. Only three controversial dialogues in the movie were noticed and they are; “Vigrahaala rajakeeyam’, ‘Naayakudu- Padavi’ and “Thikka’ dialogues. Meanwhile, ‘Thikka’ dialogue was edited by a bit. On a whole, no such sensational dialogues were seen in the movie as expected.
Meanwhile, the movie was opened with huge turnouts at the theaters. Balayya’s fans felt the movie was an average flick. All the songs in the movie should have been composed and picturized well. ‘Beard’ Balayya’s role was treated well rather than other roles of Balayya. However, we need to wait for the responses on the movie from other sections of audience.
