Mallu Arjun's 'Gaja Pokiri' Super Hit

Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Gaja Pokkiri', the Malayalam version of 'Julayi', hit the screens of Kerala state on 18th August in good number of prints. The movie has received good openings in the entire state with a positive talk. The buyers of 'Gaja Pokkiri' are fortunate enough as the highly anticipated movie of Lalettan's 'Run Baby Run' has been postponed to keep a safe distance from 'Gaja Pokkiri'. Mallu Arjun's fans are cheering up for the graceful dances, elegant dresses and spectacular fights of their favourite hero.  Sexy and sizzling hottie Ileana has paired up with Allu Arjun in this movie. Dr.Rajendra Prasad played a hilarious role in the film. Sonu Sood did the main villain. Devi Sri Prasad composed rocking tunes for the movie. The movie was directed by ace director Trivikram while it was produced by Radhakrishna on Harika and Hassine Creations.

Julayi enters All Time Top 5

The first week collections of 'Julayi' are phenomenal making it the highest in Allu Arjun's career. In India alone, the film has collected a gross of Rs 38 crores and share of Rs 24 crores. Taking $1 million at Overseas into account, the worldwide gross of the film is around Rs 44 crore.

With these earth shattering figures, Julayi entered into the All Time Top 5 openings in Tollywood. The Malayalam version of the film (Gaja Pokkiri) is releasing a week later (on August 17), else the figures would have been much higher. 

The collections were very impressive in the second week as well. With Ramzan season coming to an end on 20th of this month, the strong run of Julayi is expected at least for the next few weeks. Let's see if this films enters into the All Time Top 5 grossers list or not!

Re-establishing the lost craze in Tollywood with ‘Julaayi,’ now allu arjun is to travel Kerala as ‘Ghaza Pokiri’ set for a grand release on August 18. Although the Malayalam dubbed version is ready for release, makers have deliberately pushed forward the date to August 18 to cash the Eid and Onam festive seasons in Kerala which happens to be the most fruitful period in Mollywood. This is the season where in Super Stars Mammootty, Mohan Lal, Dilip and Prithviraj are also getting in with their new flicks. Mammootty’s ‘Thappana’ will be releasing on August 20, Mohanlal’s ‘Run Baby Run’ on August 28. There are Dilip and Prithviraj too in race.   Going by the market of Bunny, he is on hat trick as ‘Arya 2’ and ‘Badrinath’ collected above Rs.1 Crores. Now, ‘Julaayi’ due to additional Ileana factor is sold for Rs.1.2 Crore. Wish that ‘Ghaza Pokiri’ will entertain Mallu audience thoroughly.

Among the many sensations that keep happening in our country, one sensation which has been shaking the men a lot is Sunny Leone. Allu Arjun has better plans than Charan

Ram Charan is certainly superstar material and he has proved his caliber with just four movies. However, his planning doesn't seem perfect when compared to others. In six years he has done only four movies and when everything is set for him to take over the throne, Charan decided to do a Hindi film, which is absolutely not needed at this point.

Despite doing three films at a time, he couldn't get the schedules right. He likes to expand his market to Tamilnadu and Kerala, but didn't do it with a right project. Magadheera could have been the right film for him to conquer other states. That film was released very late in Tamil and Malayalam and couldn't make much of an impact.

Racha was made for fans by keeping mega heroes image in mind. Releasing it in Tamil and Malayalam was a joke. Allu Arjun is better in planning his career compared to Charan. He doesn't take hasty decisions like doing Hindi movies and remains level headed in choosing films to expand his market. When every other hero is looking to dub his movie in Tamil, Allu Arjun decided to keep Julayi away from it. Instead he is having big plans to capture Kollywood market. He will do a bilingual project in a big way to launch himself in Tamil film industry, say sources. He is in talks with few top directors from Tamilnadu. 

Manchu Girl into Mega Compound

Looks like Manchu family girl Tapsee has got the promotion and she is jumping into big league of Mega Heroes compound. The latest we hear is Tapsee who has the wonderful support of Manchu family members in her growth as a successful actress will be paired besides Allu Arjun in a film to be directed by puri jagannath. Earlier, the movie title was tentatively finalized as ‘Iddaru Ammayilu’ and Shruti Hasan was thought of as one among the two lead heroines required for this romantic story. As Shruti gave a big hand to Bunny, immediately Puri is looking for a replacement. However, Puri wants to continue with Tapsee for the other role which he penned exclusively with this beautiful lady in thoughts. Shoot of ‘Iddaru Ammayilu’ might start in September as soon as ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Ram Babu’ gets a pack up.

Bunny comes with a Clean Entertainer

Allu Arjun and Ileana starring ‘julaayi’ which is slated for a solid release on August 9 underwent the Censor formalities today. As per producer Radha Krishna, movie received a clean U certificate with no cuts recommended. Already music scored by Devi Sri Prasad is a roaring hit and there are high chances of movie to score the same at Box Office because the pre-release buzz is quite optimistic. ‘julaayi’ will release both in Telugu and Malayalam on August 9 with nearly 1600 screens as the primary count till now. Producer and Director are quite happy with the output. With few days left before the release, entire team will now set on the duty to promote the film on high scale. Makers say that innovative marketing strategies are on the anvil and one among them was ‘Pakado Pakado’ music video. Let us wish all the best to entire ‘julaayi’ team.

After NTR, now Bunny Got Rejected

More than finding the dates of Heroes, lives of Directors are getting miserable in finding the call-sheets of Heroines. As usual, until industry runs behind Winning Faces and Luck Factors before finalizing a Heroine in big project, definitely makers would end up only with three to four hot babes. First in the list now days would be shruti hasan, after bagging the industrial hit ‘Gabbar Singh.’ Before ‘GS,’ we do know of Shruti rejecting the proposal of Boyapati Srinu to act besides Junior NTR in ‘Dammu.’ Now, for the second time we hear of Shruti saying a no to Allu Arjun for the project to begin in direction of Puri Jagannath from next month. ‘I have no dates. I am missing the opportunity to work with two great people like Bunny and Puri but have no regrets because I am quite busy at work with Hindi and a couple of other Telugu projects,’ says Shruti softly rejecting Bunny.

'Julaayi' failed with 'Pakado'

The much anticipated song of ‘Pakado Pakado’ directed by Trivikram Srinivas for the promotion of ‘Julayi’ isn’t getting the needed recognition. This is for first time director has gone for an experimental mode of promotional song shot lavishly on Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad. Although the song was of rap style, audience expected too much of dance and energy from Bunny and DSP but unluckily it was simple and stylishly shot.  For the moment, ‘julaayi’ makers are screening the song not only in TVs but also on big screens where ‘UKUP’ and ‘Onamalu’ are currently running. Reports say, ‘julaayi’ might be a powerful entertainer but more than ‘Pakado’ it’s the first trailer which is more liked by public. Let us see, how will be the final product on August 9th.

Mega Family Dominating Tollywood-2012

Celebrity families of Telugu industry are trying quite hard to entertain their fans with some stunning movies. But most of them are tumbling at Box Office due to lack of proper hits and due to poor number of releases. One family is giving a full ticket value for their fans this year.

First half of 2012 is finished already and second half is waiting for some more big-masala movies. Other than Mega family heroes, no other celebrity gangs of Tollywood are ready to give treat for the whole year. Already we have seen 'Racha' and 'Gabbar Singh' from power-heroes and they are ready with few more flicks for the rest of 2012.

Allu Arjun is coming shortly with 'Julayi' and this will be followed by Pawan's 'Rambabu'. Later, there is a possibility of Sai Dharam Tej's 'Rey' and Allu Sirish is gearing up with 'Gowravam'. On a whole, there will be six movies from mega heroes to enthral their mega fans, which is a sort of record for a celebrity-family.

Coming to Nandamuri heroes, only two films 'Adhinayakudu' and 'Dammu' are released so far, and there will be two more only. From Akkinneni family, there will be two movies from Nag and one from Naga Chaitanya probably. Daggubati and Manchu families are negligible from the race.

It is only Nandamuri family who are having as numbers of heroes as Mega family, but most of them are on the verge of extinction. We have to see which family of Tollywood can put up a fight with Mega-heroes now!

Mega Family on a National Mission

The only way to expand profits in film business is to gain as much as possible or the maximum market available. Telugu cinema some time ago was constrained only to Andhra Pradesh and few centers of remaining neighborhood states. But now, we are seeing a gigantic growth in film trade with Digital Prints crossing the oceans. In the same way, this is also the right time for regional cinema to expand the roots into National arena. Rightly, Mega family seems to be taking the lead in this standing as a front runner. Yes, we know that Chiranjeevi was one of the first heroes not only to raise the commercial bar of Telugu films but also to step into Bollywood doing hit projects like ‘Pratibandh’ and ‘Aaj Ka Goondaraj.’ Now, Pawan is traveling in the same line and is all set to rock Mumbai with a high budget flick under the production house of Konda Krishnam Raju. On the other side, ramcharan is already in Mumbai with ‘Zanjeer’ and of course proven his market in Tamil. Perhaps, Allu Arjun is considered a top star in Malayalam as his movies easily cross 1 Crore business. The newly coming Allu Sirish has also jointly targeted the Kolly and Tolly BO with ‘Gauravam.’ Do we require any more proofs to convince the expanding roots of Mega Family? They are on a mission to prove ‘Telugodi’ Stamina at higher levels and let us wish that they will be victorious. Julayi Satellite Rights Shocked All

The satellite rights of the film Julayi are bagged by MAA TV at Rs 5.7 Cr. This is the highest price in recent times in Tollywood.

This shows the unchallenged craze for the movie. The movie was earlier planned to release in July but not its hitting screens in August.

Allu Arjun and Ileana are the main leads in the movie while Trivikram Srinivas directed it.

Re - Shoots to 'Julaayi'?

stylish star allu arjun's 'Julaayi', was earlier supposed to release on 13th July, has been postponed to 9th August. It was expected that the makers were feared of Rajamouli's super hit movie 'Eega', as the movie is doing extremely good business at the box office.  However, as per the latest grapevine, it is known that Allu Aravidnd is heard to have not satisfied with some of the scenes of 'Julaayi' and has asked the film unit to re-shoot those scenes.Also, an item song is expected to incorporate in the movie. We still have know whether this gossip is true or not. Incidentally, 'Eega' has also undergone many re-shoots before its release.  Sizzling beauty Ileana is doing opposite to Allu Arjun in 'Julaayi'. However, all of a sudden, natasimham nandamuri balakrishna and Manchu Manoj starrer 'Oo Kodathara Vulikki Padathaara..' movie's release date has been announced as 2nd August. Balakrishna is heard to have played the role of a ghost in this movie. So, he definitely threatens somebody in the movie as per the story. Co-incidentally, through his UKUP he is going to threaten Allu Arjun as well, as hardly there is a gap of just one week between the releases of two movies. Deeksha Seth, Panchi Bora, Sonu Sood are the other lead cast of this movie. Bobo Sashi is scoring the music of this film. Sekhar Raja is the director. The producer of this film Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna says the movie is releasing on 2nd August on account of Rakhi Poornima. The movie was made under the banner Manchu Entertainments.
