The betrothal of rana’s sister which went off as a closed affair with only few of the friends and relatives attending made sure that the actor will now be in queue to settle in life very soon. As his friends Bunny, Ramcharan, Nani getting into marriage life, insiders feel that it could be the right time for rana to find his girl and make her stand before grand pa Rama Naidu and pa Suresh Babu. However, rumor mills at work are coming up with the only name of Trisha as the girl in rana’s life. While the actress has repeatedly claimed of nothing more than a long term friendship but the way Trisha is postponing her wedding proposals brought by her mom is making many to doubt on something cooking special between them. Well, it is time that will decide on their special bonding? Of course, more than films…rana is known for his romantic stints with babes. Wish, his affair comes clear in 2013.

Rana settles with an aunty!

                Daggubati Rana has been in search of finding a proper Jodi for his film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum that is being directed by Krish. Rana has been saying that Krish is in search of a tall heroine and he is finding it tough to find one that perfectly matches him. Interestingly, Krish has signed up Nayanthara for this role, says the buzz.

Nayanthara opposite Rana doesn't sound right because the actress is mostly cast opposite senior actors. Although Nayan paired up with actors like Jr. NTR, she is mostly preferred by the age bar heroes. Of late she has been doing films with fifty plus heroes like Balakrishna and Nagarjuna. So pairing up with twenty five year old Rana will look as well as sound odd.

Krish tried his best to rope in his 'Saroja' Anushka for this role, but she has been extremely busy in Tamil to consider his request. So the director has reportedly settled for Nayanthara, who is not at all a 'tall heroine'. Agree Rana? 

Telugu star plans Tamil debut with Charan

First it was Mahesh Babu who decided to make his debut in Tamil with Vetrimaran's film and now it is Rana Daggubati. Originally, Rana was supposed to do a film with Selvaraghavan but that project was shelved. After that debacle, Rana was listening to a lot of scripts in Tamil but we hear he was very impressed when Tamil director Charan,Autograph fame, narrated a story to him.

Rana may just make his debut with this film. Having received his education in Chennai, he speaks Tamil fluently. Rana has also done a Bollywood film. Apparently his target is to create a pan - Indian fan base for himself.

Daggubati Rana Injured Seriously!!

Daggubati Rana who is currently shooting for his Hindi movie ‘Department’ is reportedly injured. The incident took place when he was shooting for an action sequence at a steel factory in the outskirts of Mumbai. It is heard that Rana suffered grave injuries on his knees and shoulder. According to unit members, Rana was supposed to jump on few boxes and due to mistiming and miscalculation he ended up landing on his knees and even his knee caps protection broke.

Now, he is suffering with an injured knee and a badly bruised
shoulder. It is heard that he is returning to Hyderabad tomorrow. Sources say Rana has been advised to take rest for few days and he would be taking part in few close up shots and not take part in action sequences till his knees are healed. To add to the woes, it is heard that when Rana met with the injury, there was no medical help around since the location was away from the city. So the local fighters put in few ice packs. Get well soon Rana!!

Mani Ratnam to direct Rana Daggubati

Rana Dagguabti is presently busy with his Bollywood forthcoming film Department, which is being directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The shooting of this movie is taking place at Mumbai; the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.

Latest news is that Mani Ratnam will be seen directing Rana Daggubati soon.  Complete details of the movie will be revealed soon. Rana recently completed shooting of his Telugu Film Naa Ishtam with stars Genelia as his costar in the direction of Prakash Tholeti. Paruchuri Kireeti is producing Naa Ishtam under the banner of United Movies.

Rajini and Deepika’s duet song is ready

It was a few days ago we have come across that Rahman has completed scoring three songs and also completed recording one song of Rana.

Everybody who had a chance of listening to this song has come out with praises on ARR and they fell in love with the track. Director KS Ravikumar after hearing to this song is very much eager to start the shoot of this song. Deepika Padukone is known for her dance moves and if it blends with Rajini's screen presence it will make one energetic combination. The song is sure to turn as chartbuster once it is aired.

The team is working on a brisk pace to complete the pending tasks before the film starts its rolling.

This multi-crore and multilingual film project is being produced by Eros International in association with Soundarya Ashwin's Ocher Studios.

Rana love affair with Kangna Ranaut

Rana is busy shooting in Kuala Lumpur for his romantic comedy Naa Istham with Genelia. He is excited on his next Hindi film Department in which he plays the role of a cop. Rana will have love and romantic angle in film with Kangna Ranaut. "It is not a usual masala film. Rather this is an intense and gripping drama revolving around cops with contrasting views about their jobs. I will share screen space with Kangna for the first time" said Rana. In fact Sanjay Dutt and Rana play the role of cops and their mission is to track down dishonest people in their organization. This flick depicts the darker side of police.
