Jr.NTR’s forthcoming film Oosaravelli has Tamannah as the female lead. The latest buzz in the filmnagar sources reveal that Tamannah will be seen as a memory loss patient in the film. Jr. NTR is said to be her savior and protects her.Oosaravelli is all about winning the battle with the mental ability rather than applying physical strength. Oosaravelli has wrapped up 80% of the film shoot and is currently progressing in Hyderabad. BVSN Prasad is producing the film on Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra banner and Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the tunes for the film.

Oosaravelli is likely to release in the last week of September for Dussera.

Rajinikanth signs for BUDDHA HOGA TERA BAAP Remake

Even before Rana is back on track it looks like Rajini is all set to sign one more film with popular Telugu director Puri Jagannath.

Telugu director Puri Jagannath is in plans of roping in Rajinikanth for the Tamil and Telugu remake of Bollywood hit film Buddah Hoga Tera Baap. In Hindi the titular role was played by Big B Amitabh Bachan which turned out to be a big hit in Bollywood.

The director has only Rajinikanth in his mind as he thinks that the role of the protagonist played by Bachchan will be carried out by Rajinikanth in a brilliant way.  From the director side it’s confirmed that he is in plans of roping in Rajini but nothing has been finalized from Superstar’s side. Buzz is that the director has already spoken to Rajini and he might give his nod to this project. If the actor gives green signal to this bilingual, the audience might get to enjoy some punch dialogues and the larger-than-life image of the central character.

If Rajini gives his nod to Puri Jagannath the film will surely turn out to be a big success in south too.

The speed with which pawan kalyan is accepting the films isnt seen even in timing of releases. It has been nearly three months post the release of Teen Maar but Fans does not have any intimation on release dates of Kaali(tentative title of Vishnuvardhan film) or Prince of Peace or the possible start up of Gabbar Singh(as July is coming to an end). Now, inner sources of Film Nagar have reported that official title of Kaali will be out in September first week while there is no chance of movie releasing before December. This means, Power Star Fans once again have to adjust with a gap of nearly nine months between two releases. Producer Shobhu Yarlagadda informing media on possible completion of total talkie part of Kaali with the ongoing Pollachi schedule is happy news to hear but what is the reason behind in taking four more months for completing post production works is yet to be known. Sorry, Pawan Fans…your wait still needs to be extended.

I am not the hero in Sega: Nani

Talking about his forthcoming Sega (slated for July 29 release) at a recently held press meet, upcoming actor Nani said he is not the hero in Sega. "I am not the hero in this film. Story is hero of Sega. More than the story, the screenplay is going to be very interesting. I don’t know how to explain the story. By the time you come out of the theatre, you’ll feel that you have seen a good and intellectual film. I am confident that it’s going to be a trendsetter," he added. Producer Ashok Vallabhaneni said: "Sega will reflect the feelings of youth today. Audience will connect to real life while watching the movie." A bilingual made in Tamil (as Veppam) and Telugu, the film is directed by lady director Anjana under the banner of Mana Desam. Post-production works are complete.

He is working already with Vishnuvardhan and Raju Sundaram will be directing him soon.
S.J.Suryah is preparing two scripts for him now.

Most of the times, Power Star tried and will keep on trying to concentrate on non Telugu backdrops for his film stories. All the way from Khushi with Bengal backdrop via Johnny with Mumbai,Teen Maar with Spanish and now Kaali(tentative title) with Kolkata, Prince of Peace with Jerusalem backdrops, it is still a mystery as what will be the situation for Gabbar Singh because title seems to be having no connotation with South names. Even it is to be observed that, majority of his films made with pure Telugu backdrop didnt work out at BO. Speaker rejects resignations of Telangana MKA's

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, has summarily rejected all the resignations that had been submitted by the 101 Congress, Telangana Rashtra Samiti, CPI, BJP and Independent MLAs from Telangana on July 4 and 5.

Invoking powers vested on him under Article 190 (3) of the Constitution, Mr Manohar rejected the resignations stating that the members had done it in an emotionally-surcharged atmosphere. The Telangana leaders, who were left high and dry due to the Speaker’s decision, have decided to meet on Sunday to decide on a future course of action.

Reacting to the rejection of the resignations, the MP and Telangana Congress leaders’ steering committee chairman, Dr K. Kesava Rao, said, “As per the rules, the Speaker alone has to decide on resignations. I cannot pass judgements on whether his decision was right or wrong. But regarding his observation that the resignations were tendered in an emotionally-surcharged atmosphere due to the Telangana issue, it is for the members to take a call now.”

The TRS leader, Mr T. Harish Rao, meanwhile, termed the Speaker’s decision as anti-Telangana and said that they would submit their resignations once again on Sunday. The party chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, also said that the TRS MLAs would submit their resignations once again on Sunday. The Telangana Telugu Desam leader, Mr Erraballi Dayakara Rao, said that the leaders would meet on Sunday to take a decision on their future course of action
