prince mahesh babu is riding high with the back to back hits in the form of 'Dookudu' and latest 'Businessman'. It is also a known thing that his 'Pokiri' was proved as industry hit at the box office then, while his 'Dookudu' was settled at the industry's second biggest hit after 'Magadheera' now. Surprisingly, none of the movies of Mahesh created all time record shares in three areas of the state so far and those areas are, Ceded, Nellore and Vizag.  Although his 'Pokiri' created an  all time record in getting 40 crores share in its full run by defeating 'Indra's' 33 crores share, the movie couldn't beat the all time record shares in Ceded, Nellore and Vizag. In Ceded area, the movie could collect only 5.50 crores share, while 'Indra' was leading with Rs.7 crores share then. In Nellore, the movie could collect Rs.1.10 crores share while, Indra was on top with 1.30 crores share. In Vizag area, 'Pokiri' collected Rs.2.90 crores full run share. However. Chiranjeevi 'Tagore' collected Rs.3.50 crores share and 'Indra' collected Rs.3 crores share.  As far as 'Dookudu' is concerned, the movie crossed the industry hit 'Magadheera's shares in Overseas only. In other areas the movie couldn't come near to the shares of 'Magadheera'. Consolidating, Prince has to prove his mettle in Ceded, Nellore and Vizag areas and hope, he can easily achieve this task through his forthcoming projects.

'Dammu' -Ntr's First Movie to get that Mark?

Although young tiger ntr proved his mettle as a powerful mass hero at the box office, he is still lag behind in achieving one mile stone in his career. None of his movies so far has  crossed the mark of 30 crores share. Surprised? But this is true.  Student No.1, Adi, Simhadri, Yamadonga and Brindavanam movies are said to be some of the good hits in the career of Jr.NTR. The shares collected by these movies are as follows. * STUDENT NUMBER ONE: 7 to 8 CRORES * ADI: 12 CRORES * SIMHADRI: 22 CRORES * YAMADONGA: 27 CRORES * BRINDAVANAM: 29.50 CRORES Above shares are excluding audio and satellite rights of the movies. If they are included, Yamadonga, Brindavanam and even Oosaravelli can easily cross the mark of 30+ crores share.However, NTR has to get 30+ crore share without the inclusion of audio and satellite rights. Trade sources say he is capable of achieving this target very easily. Moreover, his fans are saying that their hero will cross the 30+ crores share mark through the first week collections of 'Dammu' itself. Let us hope so.

allu arjun- trivikram's combo movie's shoot is at its brisk pace now. The movie is expected to late summer release. Ileana, in this movie was said to be roped in as a heroine with the recommendation of the director Trivikram.

It is heard that Charan’s eyes are on a film like ‘Chantabbayi’, a total comedy riot. Though there is a strong potential of acting among the top league heroes, due to the budget madness and bloated figures mania, the Telugu heroes are losing their true performance angle and credibility. At this point, how will it be to do a film like ‘Chantabbayi’. If Charan’s thoughts are indeed true, then it is a very good decision and aninteresting experience for the viewers to see him in a full length comedy movie.

Here is a strange gossip that is being heard for the last few days. As per this story, power star pawan kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh's' shooting schedule has been planned from 5th February to 16th February in some beautiful locations of Pollachchi. Mean while, the makers of 'Dammu' also planned their shoot at the same location where 'Gabbar Singh's shoot has been planned in Pollachchi. As per the schedule, 'Dammu' shoot has to be started from 15th February onwards. Having known, 'Gabbar Singh's unit reserved the location, the the makers of 'Dammu' are said to have requested the makers of 'Gabbar Singh' to allot the location for them. But 'Gabbar Singh's makers didn't oblige. 

Finally, Jr.NTR reportedly called to Pawan Kalyan about this matter. Without any second thoughts Pawan Kalyan has reportedly given his nod to NTR's request and let the movie's shoot be cancelled for the last two days. Delighted with Pawan Kalyan's friendly gesture, Jr.NTR is reportedly said to have told his close sources, ''That's why he is power star and that is why he has strong fan base''.

Puri Jagannadh has signed Kajal Agarwal for playing the role of female lead in his next. It is known that the ace director has a film with Pawan Kalyan as hero, and it will go on the floors from May. The film will be produced by DVV Danaiah of Universal.
Since this is the first time that Kajal is playing opposite Pawan, there will definitely be some amount of excitement about their on-screenchemistry. As for Power Star, he is known to strike immediate rapport with any actress who comes with a whiff of striking chirpiness. Rarely does Puri prefer a heroine for the second time, with the exception of Illeana, who is the heroine in Devudu Chesina Manushulu.

But the fact is it has only collected over 4 crores gross amount in two weeks and the business in overseas has almost come to an end. That means buyers are going to lose more than 1.5 crores in US alone. Don't be surprised if the producers announce that Businessman collected 10 crores full run share in overseas. Releasing fake figures has become the fresh trend of Tollywood.

RACHCHA SHAPING UP AS A BIGGIE OF 2012

After Orange debacle, Ramcharan Tej is leaving no stone unturned to make his upcoming film Rachcha a blockbuster, and crores of rupees have been spent on the action and item numbers.

Producer R.B. Choudary had to shell out Rs 2 crore just for one action sequence in the film, unit members said.

As it was shot in picturesque China, the scene required loads of bamboo sticks and the high-adrenaline action shots were choreographed by a Chinese stunt master.

“It’s quite a unique action sequence and Ramcharan did a good job with his reflexes and agility, convincingly bashing up the thugs amidst the bamboo sticks,” a crew member maintained. The producer also spent another Rs 80 lakh to rope in Bollywood beauty Lisa Hayden for the racy title track.

Though director Samapath Nandi planned a lip lock scene for the hero initially, later he dropped the move to give the so-called clean image to the entertainer

Shruti Haasan is pretty kicked about playing a village belle in her upcoming venture, ” Gabbar Singh”. She is paired opposite Pawan Kalyan in this film directed by Harish Shankar. “I am playing a rustic village girl’s character for the first time.
I’ve always played independent, modern characters in my films so far, and I am enjoying the challenge of getting into the character of a village girl,” she says.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan normally prefers to do his stunts by himself and because of his martial arts background he prefers to have natural looking action sequences in his films rather than over exaggerated fights. Recently, while shooting for an action sequence, when fight masters Ram Lakshman explained about how the fight goes, Pawan Kalyan got surprised looking at the way how easy it is. Without putting any extra efforts, Hero beats all his opponents. Pawan immediately asked the fight masters, “Is this how all other heroes fight?”. After getting the answer as ‘Yes’, Pawan just smiled and said, “Ok Let’s do it”. Even though Pawan was not completely convinced at that time, he did not interfere in fight master’s work. Ram Lakshman are taking Pawan’s film as a challenge and mixing their regular fighting styles with some innovative moves. Businessman: really great hit or flop

Reports rounded as Mahesh Babu’s Businessman was a great hit and collection wise the top and like some news but it collected in the first week more than what Pokiri collected in 100 days. To be sure, the film has been dubbed the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. What makes the magnitude of its success all the more astonishing is the fact that it is the biggest craze in the town without differentiating between the A, B, C and the Overseas markets.

It is the considered view of trade pundits that the film's honeymoon is fast closing. They point to the parallel of Oosaravelli, which too witnessed a similar northwards graph in the first week of its release but soon threw up empty seats in the theatres.

It is not our case that Businessman is another Oosaravelli but what is certain is that it is no Dookudu. Whatever, it is certain that the trend of big releases is here to stay. The question is, after so much of grandstanding and tom-toming, will anyone say that Businessman is not a super hit even if it fails to score 50 days in even half the number of centers of what Dookudu scored?

BusinessMan's failure story in Overseas

Latest reports of 'businessman' from Overseas area are revealing the fact that the movie is likely to end up with at least one crore loss to the distributors. This situation is currently worrying the exhibitors and distributors of the region.

Hari Venkateswara Pictures bought the movie's rights for Rs.4.50 crores. However, the movie could collect a gross of Rs.4.50 crores and a share of Rs.2.75 crores in its first week run. Due to drastic fall of collections for the last one week, the movie is likely to end up with the gross of Rs.5.50 crores and a full run share of Rs.3.25 crores. So, the net loss of share in Overseas area will probably be around Rs.1.25 crores.

However, Nandamuri fans and Mega fans are complaining that some of the media sources are trying to project gross figures of the movie as shares in Overseas area. Also they say, those gross figures are also highly manipulated. Further, they add, by showing those figures they are trying to put the movie's position in 2nd place after 'Dookudu'. But the situation is quite reverse, they disclosed.

Dookudu producer Anil Sunkara has given statements that irked mega camp a lot. He gave statements that Dookudu has surpassed Magadheera collections and kept on stressing it. Poor Mahesh fans still believe that Dookudu is the biggest hit.

Mega camp thought of giving a counter statement, but backed off as they didn't want to blow up the issue. Trade circles know that Magadheera is a very big hit and Dookudu didn't even reach it let alone beating it. Ram Charan and Allu Arjun's seats were reserved right next to Anil Sunkara at this event. When the organizers showed the reserved seats to the young mega heroes, they noticed Sunkara sitting there and asked them to show some other seats. Mega fans are now pointing out that two back to back blockbusters must be necessary for any hero to level the records of 'Indra' and 'Tagore', but not a blockbuster and just a hit. However, Mahesh fans are expressing their confidence that Mahesh is the only hero who could achieve this target in future.

Mahesh Babu has been desperately trying to break the biggest grosser record in some or the other way. We have seen all the fake dramas done for Dookudu which fell short of Magadheera by at least 15 crores in full run. However, they have issued fake record press notes and printed those fake records on posters and self patted their shoulders.

That has only brought shame to Dookudu's genuine success. Mahesh Babu planned to beat Magadheera record truly with Businessman. Huge release was planned, serious hype was given and the stage was set for 'Mission Magadheera'. First week collections have almost reached 30 crore showing Mahesh Babu's star power.

But Puri Jagannadh's weak content isn't helping the cause as there is heavy fall in Businessman collections in the second week. Looking at the trend, Businessman may hardly cross 40 crore in full run, which means it will settle at the third spot in all time hits list. Magadheera is sitting high and safe at this point. Who is going to topple this film that made every Telugu proud? It will certainly need a better film than Dookudu and Businessman!

Ram Charan's upcoming release Racha is currently in the last stage of production. It is expected to release during March last week. The makers of this film are keeping everything about the film under wraps. They have not yet released the first look still from this movie too.

The audio release date of the balakrishna film Adhinayakudu has been finalized. The audio release function will be held on January 29. The function will be held in a grand manner at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Adhinayakudu is directed by Paruchuri Murali.

The highlight of the film is that Nandamuri balakrishna is playing triple roles in the film. Adhinayakudu will hit the screens on February 17. Kalyani Malik has scored the music for the film. balakrishna is happy with the response to his last film Sri Rama Rajyam.
